Ed Allegra and his FATHER PETER Allegra are both very GREAT lawyers. Working with them on my case was a very positive experience. I would highly recommend them both as a lawyer and wouldn't think twice about using them and their law firm again.
I RECENTLY HIRED ALLEGRA LAW FIRM TO REPRESENT ME FOR A PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM. BOTH EDWARD AND PETER ALLEGRA ARE EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS - THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP
I have resorted to Allegra law firm on multiple occasions with a high degree of success. I would highly recommend this firm to my family and friends.
Peter is one of the best lawyers in this metropolitan area, if not in the entire country. He has been my family lawyer for over 25 years and has always provided sound legal advice, always encouraging me not to get involved in litigation or complex business arrangements. Over this time, he charged me very reasonable fees and provided hours of free consultation. You won't find a better lawyer anywhere, including the big name, very expensive firms.
Peter Allegra and his son Ed are both very knowledgable lawyers. Working with them on my case was a very positive experience. They kept me in involved every step of the way. I would highly recommend them both as a lawyer and wouldn't think twice about using them and their law firm again.
this man charge me close to 5k to fill up two forms and he sent them to wrong place not once did he represent me or even sent intern for that price officer at the immigration ask every time where is you lawyer when i told Peter about it he blow it off and said officer dont know what he is talking about now my life is in limbo cant get a job on the books and my wife is really sick the way he treats people turn my life upside down i would not hire him for a traffic violation.
24 years ago I needed an immigration layer and I found Mr. Allegra in the yellow pages (there was no Internet back then). I called him to ask if he would handle my case. He said that I had to make an appointment an pay for a consultation and so I did. After charging me $50 in advance and describing my situation to him...I had an electrical engineering college degree an a company willing to hire me. He stood there with a straight face and told me that there was nothing that could be done, that company could not legally hire me and I had to go back to my country. The whole thing took no longer than 10 minutes. Disheartened I decided to get a second opinion. I found another lawyer, a real immigration lawyer this time. Six weeks later I had an H-1 (work) visa and a legal job as an engineer. I realized then that this person probably made his money. No need to take any job or to know anything about immigration law for the matter. Just charge for the consultation and dispatch the client very quickly with false information. I later became a legal resident an eventually a US citizen. I have had a successful and fulfilling engineering career in America...And to think that I almost gave it all up because of this..."immigration lawyer"
