You won't regret hiring Paul Walchenbach. He's honest, smart, seems to really care, and works very hard for his clients. Paul has helped me through a few different legal situations over the last 15 years. Every time I need something from him he takes the time to clearly explain all the relevant details in a way I can understand.

I was in a very dysfunctional marriage and wanted to file for divorce. The problem was my ex was overseas and basically laughed at the idea of agreeing to a divorced. I saw Pauls ad about a contested divorce. By the time I contacted Paul I was upset, drained and had no idea what to do. Paul's deneanor towards me was calm he helped me understand that I still had rights abd that Ican get a divorce. So he helped me through the process and was there for me with all the attempts my ex would try and stall the process. He was helpful and a great advocate for me during a stressful time and yes I did get my divorce. I woukd recommend Paul to anyone is seeking a divorce especially a hard contested one.

I interviewed three attorneys before selecting Paul Walchenbach. During the consult interview he was thoughtful and meticulous about explaining the process and how best navigate through a divorce without racking up frivolous legal costs. It was clear he was not taking the blood thirsty path as the other attorneys I had interviewed appeared to have wanted to, but articulated he had my best interest in mind. To say that I handed Mr. Walchenbach a case resembling a lemon is an understatement however he managed to make lemonade and the end result was the best possible outcome. This was similar to watching a bad reality TV show in that I was blindsided by not only my spouse suddenly leaving the marriage but as time went on discovering things that were so well hidden during the marriage. What should have been 90 days and done took almost a year and turned out to include addictive, narcissistic, sociopathic behavior and abuse from my ex. I would venture say that even with 30 years of experience that there were a few “first time events” which Paul handled with utmost professionalism. He was honest, compassionate and provided realistic expectations. This was much more difficult than it should have been and Paul stayed even keeled and patent throughout. Based on my experience my advice to anyone who is “shopping” for an attorney for whatever reason is to keep in mind you are looking for a subject matter expert to team with and guide you through the legal process. Clients are responsible to stay engaged and understand the steps along the way regardless how hard that can be. I am grateful for the way Paul and his staff handled my divorce and highly recommend his services.

I found Paul via my community ...he was recommended by a few people I know. I called and was initially given a consult interview ...I feel like he spent an excessive amount of time with me essentially trying to not have me hire him and educating me on the least expensive way to proceed without racking up legal costs. In the end my spouse made that impossible, I had no choice so I hired him. I was about to get severely taken advantage of and Paul protected my rights through this dissolution process ...to the fullest extent that was legally possible. He did a good job, the opposition pushed every time they had a chance. My experience with Paul is watching his experience work for me, as I watched him fight for me. Beyond being just good at the technical aspects, he has a warming human side. I think he told me once that "he helps people out in times when they are not at their best". Through all of this he has become more of a friend than just my attorney. If I can say it one more time ...thank you Paul. One other thing that I should mention is that I sent a few other people his direction, and in all of those cases he was able to guide these people to a solution that didn't involve hiring him. I don't think he took a nickel from any of them but I know hours were invested. He also serves on some sort of volunteer mediation team that assists with divorce cases for people who can't really afford it. That's the kind of person Paul is. There are a few good divorce lawyers out there, I guarantee you Paul is one of them.

Mr. Walchenbach did a phenomenal job helping me with my custody case. He gave me sound advice, and lead me to a compromise that I could be happy with, and ultimately helped me avoid a costly legal battle. Paul provided an excellent service. I recommend him.

Paul was a huge help in a recent child custody matter. He kept me informed throughout the whole process, and took the time to walk me how the whole thing was going to work. And when we were in court, he handled everything skillfully and professionally. I was very glad that he was on my side.

I met Mr Walchenbach approximately ten years ago. He was working on his "off time", volunteering for a Women And Children's Shelter. He was my attorney during this horrific time, dealing with Domestic Violence and Parenting issues. Mr Walchenbach was also my attorney during latest (second) divorce, which ended this year. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mr Walchenbach. He is always professional, kind, to the point, timely with returning calls and the overdose of paperwork (the court system seem to love). Mr Walchenbach worked well into the night and on weekends- making sure all paperwork was submited on time and with all information needed to get my divorce(s) FINALIZED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MR. WALCHENBACH!!

I would absolutely recommend Paul. I met Paul three years ago. He has represented me in a custody case involving my daughter. From the very beginning, Paul showed me the respect that I didn't think I deserved at that time. He was kind, committed and most of all honest with me. Phone calls were always returned in a timely matter. He and Linda both took time to explain things to me. Best of all, I have been extremely please with the outcome of my custody battle. I cannot thank Paul and Linda enough for what they have done for me and my family.

Paul was recommended to me by my former lawyer. I searched for a lawyer to represent me but nobody wanted to handle such a contentious case. Paul agreed to take my case and continued to represent me as the battle got uglier and uglier. Paul was very professional and responsive to my ever growing concerns and demands. At times, I was ready to give up. Paul gave me the strength to be strong and fight back. Paul's words were calming and reassuring. If it weren't for Paul, I would have given up and settled for far less than what I was awarded. I could not have done it without him. In the end, we got more than I ever expected. Thank you Paul (and Linda). I am glad I found someone who stood up to my ex while at the same time remaining professional and not taking the bait. I am forever indebted to you!!

Paul was recommended to me by a "friend of a friend". He was the fourth (and last) attorney I used during my divorce case which had been pretty badly screwed up by the previous attorneys. Paul gave me expert advice and provided skilled guidance while allowing me to make my own decisions to settle the case. He speaks in layman's terms and explains the legal terms clearly and without prejudice. Response time was typically less than a day for any questions I had, and sometimes within the hour. This guy knows how to use technology to his advantage ... and mine. His legal assistant Linda is wonderful and friendly to work with as well. I give them an A+. Thanks Paul & Linda.
