After having a firm in VA handle my original divorce and paying them a $10,000 retainer (The firm was headed by a very big name lawyer who used to be a VA supreme court judge) all I ever received from them was a draft settlement agreement. I was having issues finding my ex and the VA firm didnt really ever explain to me anything as far as the process and tried to get me to do the majority of the legwork. Once they found out I lived in DC now and she had left VA they simply said "Were a VA firm so we cannot help anymore, you should find a DC lawyer." I didn't just find "a" lawyer, I found "the" lawyer that you want working your case in DC. Not only did Paul take the time to explain the process to me, he let me know for as simply as my case was I was taken advantage of by the VA firm. His fees I will say were the most reasonable I have ever had for legal representation to the point I didn't question or mind paying them. Paul works in the mindset of a true legal professional and by Bar he had to pass to practice. He charged me for what was due and there wasnt a lot of justification labor for other office personnel dumped on my bill like other firms do. At the end of my divorce, Paul had literally gotten everything I had hoped for in the divorce, as well as providing a calm, collected and incredibly knowledgeable legal professional at my side the whole way through. Im sure there are other lawyers in DC, but not for me anymore, thanks again Paul!!

Paul d hunt is a scam artist. I paid him money hoping to discuss my case and get feedback. We we supposed to meet in person multiple times to discuss my case and he would never show up, had an excuse as to why he didn’t show and even sent me a address to an abandoned house. I would not recommend him.

I paid Mr Hunt and he didn't file my paperwork right or at all. Misspelled names, gave the court the wrong address of all involved. Mr Hunt didn't show for the court case. Mr Hunt won't return calls or emails. His ratings should be zero. I had to file with the bar and hire another attorney.
