I was in complete despair when I called Kravitz Chan and was immediately connected to Paul Chan. I explained my situation and he just listened. I called a few attorneys prior to speaking with Paul. The couple of attorneys who spoke to me were impatient and was only interested in getting me to pay their retainer. Paul answered all of my questions and was not trying to get me to hire him. I decided to hire Paul and his fees were more than fair. Over the next 6 months, Paul would respond to all of my calls and emails. He kept me informed and I am happy to say that he was able to get a positive outcome. He saved my license and my career. I’m forever grateful for him being there for me.
As a professional, having your license being revoked is an event that can destroy your career and self esteem. Especially when the allegations are neither true nor close there to. I was faced with a circumstance when I could have lost my license, notwithstanding my having been cleared of any wrongdoing by both my colleagues and the hospital which employed me. Thankfully I was referred to Mr. Chan. He was not wanting me to settle my case; he knew I needed to show my professional peers my license and practice were both done according to the highest ethical standards. Paul believed me, not just on my word, but after he considered the evidence and did an exhaustive investigation of his own. He looked me in my eyes and told me 1) he knew I was I innocent: and 2) he would trust his family to my care. I broke down crying, knowing a top legal professional both knew of my innocence and trusted me with his family. With Paul’s support and extraordinary legal skill, I was shown innocent. No plea; a trial showed I did more than required to help my patient. Thank you Paul, for being an expert attorney and an honest, kind and talented man.
After receiving a DUI, I was placed on nursing probation. I was very thankful to have Paul Chan as my attorney. He is very knowledgeable about the law and how the board of nursing works.
I made a poor decision and drove home after drinking. Got charged with DUI, which was reduced to a "wet reckless" in court. Mr. Paul Chan helped disclose this to the BRN within the 30 day window. The BRN issued a citation and fine, which is the result that I needed and desperately hoped for. Thank you for your help, Paul!
Mr. Chan is a great lawyer, he fought for me from the first time I reached out to him. Kept in touch with me throughout the whole process. Answered all my emails, and I have to admit they were excessive! lol He responded immediately anytime I reached out to him and broke down the process so i actually understood what he was talking about. He is well liked by other lawyers, and is well known in Sacramento. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I hope I never need him again but if I do he will be the first person I call. I know people in similar circumstances who did not get the same outcome as me because they did not hire an attorney. He's worth every penny and is willing to work with you. Give him a call, HIGHLY recommended!!!!
Paul was a fabulous resource when I was accused of unprofessional conduct. He provided both professional advice and emotional support, being willing to take my calls or answer emails at any time. His advice when meeting with the BRN representative was invaluable, and I have no doubt that it helped me achieved the best possible outcome to my case. He fielded all inquiries and from the DCA and BRN, handled all correspondence with them, and even advised and helped me to re-enact the situation in question to best represent the facts to the investigator. I would wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone in a similar position.
I was involved in a situation that could've potentially ruined my career. I am so lucky I found Paul Chan. He advised me to retain an attorney for the criminal portion of my case whom he had worked with before. Together, they saved my career. Paul advised me appropriately and was always available to respond to my questions or needs. He knows how to deal with professional boards and definitely advised me based on his vast experience with these boards. I am working without restrictions and I owe it to Paul's expertise in dealing with these types of situations. He is confident and definitely competent.
As the manager of a pharmacy where the theft of large amounts of a highly abusable drugs (by non-licensed personnel). I was facing severe legal action/discipline against my personal license to practice and therefore work to support my family. After consulting with 4 attorneys regarding my case, I chose Paul Chan because of his high level of professionalism and his confidence to successfully represent me. Paul assured and guided me through every step and nuance of the process, which lasted about 16 months. Paul successfully argued my case in front of an Administrative Law Judge at a hearing which lasted a very tough (for me) 1 & 1/2 days. Even though the judge's proposed decision of public reproval which would be the best outcome possible, Paul gave me a realistic expectation/concern, because of aggravating factors, regarding the final decision/outcome from the licensing board. I was expecting the worst, but Paul has the best written argument skills that any attorney can have. He used these skills successfully, which resulted in the board’s acceptance of the judge’s decision. Paul Chan’s success is evidenced by many years of experiences in defending professional licenses when faced with legal action/discipline. He answered all of my questions and concerns personally and very quickly. His fees are reasonable. I found his office easy to find, and staff very friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to hire Paul again. Your license to practice is well worth it. Do not hesitate to call Paul now!
I had a legal issue that I was unprepared for and had no knowledge of how to handle. I am a professional but do not know the language of law. I hired an attorney who was the wrong kind of attorney so consequently I didn't receive correct information, an expensive mistake. I had no one to talk to about this and felt as though I were floundering in the dark alone, until I found Paul Chan's information through research. He was immediately understanding and compassionate. His expertise in Administrative Law was what I needed. He guided me through the legal process with patience as I was approaching this from a baseline of zero knowledge. He connected me with resources, prepared me for what to expect and what I needed for court. He was there with me in court and things went smoothly. I attained my desired goal and will forever be grateful to Paul for walking with me through a tough challenge. He has educated me, provided council on countless occasions when I had questions, and calmed my fears by helping me to remain centered and calm. I trust Paul Chan; his ethical decisions, wisdom, and advise. He also knew the financial strain I was under because my livelihood had been affected so he kept my costs far below what I would have had to pay other lawyers (and did) to represent me. I have recommended Paul to others seeking legal council because I know that his service extends farther than that of being an excellent lawyer and achieving the desired outcome. He reaches a compassionate hand out to guide others in need and that is very comforting when you're walking through territory you're unfamiliar with. I am a grateful person who is currently back into the field of my chosen profession because of Paul Chan. Thank you Paul!!
Hiring Mr. Chan was the best decision I've ever made. I was confident he would try his best to get me back to work. I am forever grateful to him and his Office. I had a very good experience working with him. He was knowledgeable in policy and procedures for the Dept. I am currently employed for. Thank you Paul for a job well done. I will be sure to recommend his office to anyone in need.
