This laywer can be your best friend. Some people NOBODY can help. I was one of those people. He literaly saved my life and livelyhood. He was direct. Painfully truthful. AND DELIVERED! Take a blind leap! (Especially after you have exhausted traditional methods).

He made me feel safe and calm in a time where i was lost and scared and confused. I knew I could have perfect confidence in him . He is kind, intelligent and professional.

This guy is a joke. He charged me $3500 for misdemeanor DUI representation. Basically all he did to help was take the papers and sentencing from the judge and hand them to me. After completing all my terms of sentencing (alc. screening, level II education, ignition interlock, MADD, etc. I faxed all records to him to file with the courts. Three years later I got a letter from the court saying I failed to provide proof of alcohol screening and level II ed. This was the first time I'd heard of anything not being filed and completed. I had records and fax cover sheets showing that I indeed sent them to Paul Banales's office. Apparently, he did not properly file them with the courts. Upon hearing of this, he refused to correct the issue and said I had to appear myself at the hearing. I live in Scottsdale and the court is in Tucson. I refused to drive over 100 miles and miss an entire work day to correct an issue that was no fault of my own. I basically had to get further legal representation just to get Banales to do his job. NEVER hire this man.

Mr. Banales was so busy tooting his own horn he did not accomplish much for my case.

Attorney Banales is a person with too much to do to handle a case competently. I was charged with several violations, and during my initial contact with him we came up with a plea bargain. Attorney Banales states that he spoke to the prosecutor who accepted the plea, however I later found myself presented with a much different (and pretty awful) plea deal. Attorney Banales said he would present the correct plea to the prosecutor, but over a 3 month period and numerous court dates, I still ended up with the awful plea bargain. Attorney Banales kept telling me "the prosecutor never called me back." Apparently it would have been too much of an effort for him to try contacting the prosecutor more than once. He had the nerve to tell me that he should have charged me double because of all the work he was putting in to my case. Stay away from this attorney, there are many others to choose from.
