Integrity, strategy and results are not just words to us. They represent our mission.Paul was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School (1983), the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (1989) and the William S. Boyd School of Law (2003). Paul has a well rounded academic and professional background, which enhances his ability to analyze legal issues and represent his clients well.Paul earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and a minor in chemistry while at UNLV. He began his professional career with the Clark County Health District (CCHD) in 1990. During his time there, he was instrumental in implementing the CCHD hazardous waste management program. In 1991, Mr. Adras left there to join the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP). He became the first environmental scientist hired by NDEP to regulate the management of hazardous waste in southern Nevada. Over the next several years, Paul managed a professional staff of the Division’s highly technical hazardous waste compliance and enforcement program in southern Nevada, and became the interim office manager of the Division’s Las Vegas Office in 2002, overseeing the bureaus of air quality management, waste management, water resources, corrective actions, and federal facilities. During his tenure with NDEP, Mr. Adras investigated a number of alleged environmental crimes, and even testified in court as a regulatory expert witness on behalf of the State of Nevada during the prosecution of an environmental crime. In 2003, Paul graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law, where he earned the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Service to the Law School Community. While in law school, Paul served as President of the Christian Legal Society, and as Secretary of the Environmental Law Society. Following law school, Paul ended his tenure with NDEP, and since that time he has engaged in the private practice of law, primarily in the areas of criminal defense, construction defect litigation, toxic mold litigation, personal injury, environmental law, and legal consultations. He has extensive experience in criminal defense and toxic mold litigation, and has lectured to home builders and government agencies on this subject. He has also made numerous presentations over the years to various groups regarding a broad range of environmental topics. In 2006-2007, Mr. Adras served on the Nevada Test Site Community Advisory Board, which is comprised of volunteers who represent Nevada stakeholders by reviewing and commenting on environmental restoration (i.e. groundwater contamination, historic nuclear test area clean-up, etc.) and waste management (i.e. radioactive waste transportation and disposal) activities at the Nevada Test Site. He is a past Registered Hazardous Substances Professional (RHSP), a credential he held for well over a decade, through the National Environmental Health Association. The practice of law, and particularly the practice of criminal and DUI defense law, is both a science and an art. Paul has tried a number of criminal jury trials and misdemeanor bench trials, and has conducted a number of felony preliminary hearings. He also has an extensive civil litigation background. Paul's hands-on and practical scientific background, combined with his everyday courtroom experience, enables him to provide high quality representation and achieve excellent results.Paul has been a licensed foster parent, and is married with seven children, and his family has taken in a number of foster children over the years. Paul J Adras remained calm and professional with his career not only during courtrooms, the Judges, and charges filed, he also instructed I remain appropriate, recognizing his client was distraught. Throughout the process; I’m extremely appreciative for the results.
Paul Adras and staff are very professional and went beyond my expectations to get me the best possible results. Even with set backs from the court Paul was able to find the right approach to get my record seal handled. Sarah Hugar did an outstanding job in keeping me informed every step of the way. Once again I can not thank Paul and Sarah enough for the job they did for me. I would highly recommend them for all your legal needs
I found Attorney Adras online and was surprised by his knowledge of the court procedure and potential outcomes on my case. I'm glad I hired him to be my attorney.
I was a client of Mr. Adras - he is thorough and responsive!
I retained Paul for legal services and he quoted me $7000.0 to go all the way through my prelim. After that he said it could be as much as $50000 going forward. I retained him with $2500.00 down payment and he agreed to $500 a month. He was near impossible to get a hold of after getting my money. He would not return calls until days later if at all. My family court lawyer said he was ghosting him as well and not returning his calls either. He said I should get a new attorney for criminal law. He never did anything for me. We spoke a total of 3 times for maybe an hour in all. He was terrible. The police showed up on a Friday and arrested me and stated that my lawyer NEVER answered his phone or returned their calls and they were trying to allow me to do a walk through and post bail but he didn't respond so they took me to jail for 14 days. When my wife told Paul Adras what the police said he told her to go get a public defender that he was not going to help me because we complained. I demanded my $2500.00 refunded and he sent me a bill for $6055.00 and said I owed him $3555.00 for unpaid services. He billed me $52.50 for ever text message we sent and voice mail we sent to him trying to get him to call us back with NO REPLY from him. A total of 43 times at $52.50. He even billed me for texting him for a refund after he fired me. This attorney is a thief, a crook and a con man. RUN AS FAR AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS SCAM ARTIST. Michael Prescott 702-817-2911
