The first time Patti represented me was after my first attorney stopped practicing law and was sending her clients over to Patti. I was very grateful for the recommendation. Patti is very insightful and has now has many years of practice which enable her to know how to approach certain topics. She also knows all of the people within the court, when let's face it, the court system is IMPERFECT and there are people with bias. So, you need someone that can not only pull your argument together with law and facts but also someone that can read people and play devil's advocate to get you prepared for counter-responses. I used other attorneys between my first time using Patti and my most recent case. And I have come back to her and she remembered every little detail about my case after 10 years. She is not only top notch but also reasonable in her fees and payments. Too many attorneys are overpriced and put in the least amount of effort into your case and at the end of the day can't even remember your name. But not Patti, she is smart, confident, and competent.

I chose this attorney, to represent me in a Foc child support case that had snowballed out of control. She was very helpful, and I was granted a reduced payoff amount. The Foc was derelict in their obayance of the judges orders, and Patti slapped them back into compliance. Thanks Patti for standing up for my side in an abusive situation caused by hostile out of control FOC. Patti McKenney will get them off of you back!!!

I used Patti for a very contested divorce case that went on for almost 1 year. I was married for 3.5 years with no kids. My ex had a lot of business debt and eventually filed bankruptcy. Given the case, Patti was not equipped for the case and was not prepared to deal with a true narcissist. I spent nearly 15k and she didn't even get me divorced. I ended up finishing the case myself. I was very unimpressed at the lack of knowledge as I had to hire another attorney to deal with part of the case. I understand there were things that were out of her control, but she should have been upfront with me instead of continuing to let things play out. I would also expect a lawyer with as many years of experience to be thinking several steps ahead instead of allowing my ex-husband's attorney to push us around and allowing me to lose everything.

Do not use Patti McKenny if you require an honest and professional attorney. Had to keep a close eye on billing. I was over billed on several occasions, and the reply was "oh, I'm sorry, not sure how that happened." You think someone who has been practicing law as long as she has would know to check in with the court clerk before court, not Patti. Opposing counsel and the judge were waiting for Patti and we were sitting in a conference room not aware. The judge was so angry that she was kept waiting I felt it had a effect on the outcome of the case.

We were not impressed at all with this attorney. The fees she quoted us in the beginning were far less than we were actually charged. We also discovered that she filed forms with FOC that were unnecessary as FOC handles. When we asked our caseworker why she would do that, it was suggested that she did this to increase her bottom line/income. Needless to say at our expense. Ironically, I have also come across another one of Patti's clients who had a very similar, negative experience. Also, I would like to point out that this attorney lacks empathy. She treated us as if we were on trial, and didn't seem to fully trust us...and we were her client!! The amount of child support she claimed we could get was so far below acceptable, even the courts granted us more than what she proposed...thankfully. The overall experience was awful. I would not trust this woman, and I would not recommend her to represent you. I will say she litigates well, but buyer beware! She will charge you any way she can. And a lawyer who files unnecessary paperwork so she can collect more monies is not to be trusted.
