Patrick has been practicing law in the state of Maryland since 1990. Until 2005, when he was appointed Juvenile and Domestic Relations Master forMaryland’s Second Judicial Circuit, he was a partner in the Stevensville,Marylandlaw firm of Foster, Braden, Thompson & Palmer. While first in private practice, Mr. Palmer was involved in a broadranging litigation practice which included civil litigation, construction litigation, divorce, custody, child support, CINA cases, real estate, criminal defense, consumer bankruptcy, estates, business, corporate and personal injury cases. After being appointed Domestic Relations and Juvenile Master, Patrick presided over family law cases and Juvenile cases in the Circuit Courts for Queen Anne’s County,Talbot County,KentCounty,CarolineCountyandCecilCounties,Maryland. He also conducted settlement conferences in all civil types of cases. During that time, Patrick became a fully certified mediator and was instrumental in establishing a comprehensive mediation program in the Circuit Court for Queen Anne’s County. He also assisted in the development and establishment of the Court Appointed Special Advocate program which ensured that each foster care child had an independent voice in the court. Since returning to the private practice of law in 2012, Mr. Palmer has concentrated his practice in the areas of civil litigation, includingdivorce and custody cases, criminal defense, mediation, consumer bankruptcy and estate planning.   Patrick received his Juris Doctorate degree from theUniversityofBaltimorein 1990, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from theUniversityofWisconsinin 1986. Patrick is licensed to practice law inMaryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Bankruptcy Court, Maryland District and theUnited StatesCourt of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit
