He earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Patrick competed as a member of Stetson’s nationally recognized Trial Team program, was published by a law review, and received numerous awards for mock trial practice, professionalism, and student service. During this time, he also partook in an advanced Trial Advocacy program at the University of Oxford. Most recently, Patrick has continued to expand his knowledge by completing Harvard Law School’s Executive Education Program on Negotiation.EXPERIENCEBefore graduating law school, Patrick had the opportunity to work in many different areas of law. Most notably, he interned with the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Florida and assisted in a clemency petition granted by the Executive Office of the President of the United States. Additionally, as a clinical student, he represented veterans appealing their denial of VA disability benefits, and after arguing before a Veterans Law Judge from Washington, D.C., he was able to secure a favorable outcome for a deserving veteran.Following graduation, Patrick worked as an associate attorney in two of the largest plaintiff personal injury law firms in Florida, gaining invaluable experience through their high-volume caseloads. During that time, he worked on hundreds of injury cases throughout negotiation, litigation, mediation, and trial phases. Patrick brings his understanding from those experiences to Hale Law, P.A., coupled with the desire to provide more personal attention to each one of his clients.ASSOCIATIONSPatrick is a member of The Florida Bar, Florida Justice Association, Manasota Trial Lawyers Board, and the Sarasota County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Motor Vehicle Trial Lawyers Association – Top 25, an invitation-only professional organization composed of and limited to the top 25 attorneys from each state or region who serve individuals and families who need attorneys to represent them in motor vehicle claims. Patrick is admitted to practice in all Florida courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
