Patrick and his staff handled my bankruptcy a couple of years back. I had met with a couple of other bigger firms and after meeting Patrick I chose him and his staff. As with any BK it's about process and so on. What makes him stand out to me when I compare to my friends who went thru similar was the attentiveness of his staff. When I had question, they answered, and then after the BK when companies still tried attacking me, they shut them down every time. I couldn't be happier with my experience.
I have used Mr. Driscoll in 2 court hearings and he has gone above and beyond and I could not be more pleased. His office staff is very nice and always answers back timely and keeps you in the loop. Mr. Driscoll comes very prepared to court and does not promise you results that aren't obtainable. He truly cares about his clients and their issues. I am very happy I found him and was able to use him as my attorney and he will be my first call if I ever need him in the future.
Patrick and his staff have gone above and beyond to help us with the return of my step-children. They all worked very hard, night and day, on all aspects of the case; and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking to get the best customer service and the best results.
Patrick is a great Lawyer and his staff is awesome, very supporting and friendly. He is very affordable with great prices. I retained him quickly to represent me in a Divorce case. I highly recommend him to everyone, no regrets.
It was a little hard to find the place but worth the look. His correspondence was direct and straightforward. and he is kid friendly as my wife and I were trying to listen to his consultation with our raging child getting into everything he possibly could. Patrick was completely understanding and his resolve towards getting my wifes legal needs as well as my own are bar none the best encounter I have ever had with any lawyer for any reason.
When I met Patrick, I found very personable and knowledgeable. He told me what to expect and what not to expect. He said what she could have and could not get. His initial fees were very reasonable with the standard warning that they could change if it became more complicated. I warned him that my wife could be would make things complicated just for the sake of making them complicated. That proved to hold very true. Things went fairly smooth until my wife started ‘lawyer hopping’. This proved tedious for us as we had to repeat work and restart negotiations. My wife was not turning in all her documents, hiding information, keeping many secrets. About 6 months into the process, I started noticing Patrick getting distracted easily, forgetting details and not being prepared for court sessions. Responses to my communication were rare and incomplete. I had considered retaining a new lawyer but felt that would just add more complications and add more costs. I came to regret that decision. At the beginning he stated many things my wife wanted were not supported by Nevada laws. During the final months I kept finding Patrick giving into my wife’s lawyers demands, even though he had earlier stated to me that she was not entitled to them. At the final hearing, he gave in quickly and did not put up much of a fight. He was unprepared and distracted. While I understand his desire to get this over with, it ended up costing me tens of thousands of dollars in settlement costs and his additional fees. The explanations for his lack of actions were weak. All said, I feel Patrick is a good lawyer. However, his lack of organization and his ego prevent him from being a great lawyer.
Worst experience. Promised a lot but got half of what should have been awarded. Partly the judge, but also did not feel as though I had been represented well. No follow up, no answer to emails, discovery process didnt really happen, hidden assets of husband, were never addressed. Need I go on!
After meeting with Patrick multiple times over the year leading to securing him, Patrick did lead me to believe he cared about me and my case and would work hard for me. He always maintained a focus on "the kids." This proved to be to misdirect. I had two different meetings with Patrick before an emergency custody hearing. Each time Patrick was too busy to focus. Interrupted constantly by his assistant yelling through the office, answering calls, and e-mails. I was concerned, but felt stuck as a hearing date for custody was approaching. On the day of the hearing, Patrick showed up last, was unprepared and unfamiliar with the facts of my case. Saying to the judge, "hold on let me get my notes out," as he pulled his notes up on his computer. (Video Court Hearing) I lost custody and was ordered a large amount of support because Patrick presented no argument in my defense. I had to speak up for myself in court as Patrick would not say anything other than recommending counseling, Which ultimately led to the Judge chastising me for speaking during court. The judge even chastised Patrick during our hearing for his actions. Patrick was supposed to be my advocate and failed to speak or fight on my behalf beyond repeating the same statement of recommending counseling for the children over and over. Ultimately, I secured another attorney who helped me secure a favorable outcome and joint custody of my children. Patrick refused to forward my case documents to my new attorney, denied my calls and messages or attempt to contact him to return my retainer, and one of his last statements to me was, "I love my job and what I get paid to do it." I would not recommend Patrick as I feel he overpromises, under delivers, and just doesn't care about the real lives of his clients or their situations because he's paid well to do it. In my humble opinion.
