I own and operate a 30 employee manufacturing company. Our business is very competitive and we are constantly trying to fend off other companies from taking our customers. Shortly after one of our key salesman earned a six figure bonus, he abruptly resigned, telling us that he was going to take some time off from working and re-evaluate his career. This made me very suspicious. All of our employees sign non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, but something about the way he acted didn't site right with me. I explained the situation to Attorney Dolan and he convinced me to have the employee's company laptop examined by a computer expert. Sure enough, our former employee had been sending information about our products, customers and pricing to one of our competitors and he had reached an agreement to go work for them. He even had downloaded and copied all of the information to his own laptop. Attorney Dolan was able to get an injunction to force the return of the information and he negotiated a damage settlement that was very favorable to us. His work and communication were first rate, and I can't recommend him highly enough.

I spent a couple of years and thousands of dollars in divorce court with my husband. Most of the time and money was spent trying to figure out the value of a couple of businesses he ran, but which I had an interest in. The divorce lawyers fought over everything and we seemed to get nowhere. A colleague of mine recommended Patrick, and he immediately suggested that instead of focusing on the issues in divorce court, I should bring a lawsuit for breach of fiduciary duty against all of the shareholders in the businesses. Within 6 months I had a full accounting of every aspect of the businesses and a much better grasp of what the value of my interests were. Not only was I able to get this information, but I was able to use it in the divorce and got a much better settlement than I had been led to believe was possible.
