I am very happy with the results Joelle gave for my difficult case. The outcome was better then I expected. I even reached out to her on weekends and she would reply to my messages. I know she has other clients but I felt like I was well taken care of and she treated me with the attention I needed.
If you are looking for an attorney that is going to fight hard for you and your family, don’t hire! Not only was she hard to get a hold of whenever I had an issue, she completely dropped the ball on my custody case. I had proof that my ex was putting my child’s life in danger and breaking the custody order. Joelle failed to mention either of those situations (plus a few other incidents) and sat as quiet as a mouse in my hearing. My ex ended up being granted extra time with my child because Joelle failed to do her job. Then tried to put fault on me because “I should have mentioned it if I wanted to talk about it”. Isn’t that what we pay attorneys for? To bring up points that we, as emotional parents, may not be able to think of during our hearings? As if that wasn’t bad enough, Joelle stated that she thought my hearing was a “fair outcome” and that the situation when my child’s life was in danger “wasn’t significant enough” for her to speak about in court. I would have been better off representing myself. Weakest performance of an attorney I have ever heard of. Seriously, if you need someone to fight for your children, go elsewhere. I would really hate to see this happen to anyone else.
