In retrospect, I wish I’d hired her for my divorce in ‘09. She represented me starting in late ‘19 to get full custody of my children from their abusive mother. That’s not always an easy task for a man. Her legal acumen is top tier and she’s razor sharp. There was never a problem with communication and she never tried to name nickel and dime me for phone conversations that sometimes lasted a good hour. She was always one step ahead during the litigation and finally by the end of this past summer we were done. My children are safe and it was worth every penny.
Patricia Fox helped me with a difficult situation ‘ She was professional but ver caring
Patricia Fox represented me in a maintenance review. She was extremely thorough and organized in her approach and professional in her demeanor while also being personable and compassionate. Her deportment in the courtroom was above reproach. She was readily available and quick to respond to my questions and concerns. I heartily recommend her without hesitation.
I've found Ms. Fox to be an exceptional attorney who not only has a strong understanding of the law, but also has a strong understanding of the needs of the people she has been hired to represent.
I chose Patti Fox based on the numerous reviews. I figured the few bad ones had to be outliers. Moody disgruntled clients. Please go elsewhere! After 7 months of basically filing papers and cc numerous emails they charged me 20+k and accomplished nothing. As soon as she got me to take money out of my retirement to pay them, she dropped me as a client. We have a house, 1 child, and a couple retirement accounts. This was not a difficult case. Men...she will not fight for your rights as a parent! Be warned! Additionally every time I needed her to be the professional, she would ask me what I wanted to do...I didn't know what to do... that's why I hired a lawyer. She seems incapable of anticipating the oppositions responses and actions. She was always caught off guard and seemed helpless to know how to respond. This was a huge waste of money and now I have to start all over. If you have a ton of money to waste, go for this firm. Otherwise I would stay far away.
I hired her because of good reviews in Google and good impression in the initial consultation. I assumed she would be good based on her experience and her higher hourly rate. But my judgement was totally wrong. She was not very talkative or not guaranteed anything at front. But it turned into not informative. I intended to have her revised the material agreement given by the ex-spouse. But it turned into the petition and started the case. In addition, there were careless typos, grammatical mistakes and totally wrong client name in her paperwork which not understandable with her experience and expensive fee. I complained about the matters. She asked me to look for another attorney instead of accepting her mistakes. In addtion, she or her firm did not update about the final judgement until I contacted her a month after the divorce was finalized. She apologized for the delay, but still not understandable. The delay caused me the problems too. The firm is very prompt to send me the bill, though. She must be good and experienced attorney. But She was not the right one for me and for my simple divorce case. I hired too expensive attorney for my case.
My experience with Attorney Patricia Fox was incredibly disappointing and I made a considerable mistake in retaining their legal services. Per the representation agreement I had with Abear Law, one part stated “The counsel will abide by the client’s decision concerning the objectives of representation…” I was charged $175 for a Petition that was written by Patricia Fox, however I had NOT and NEVER requested it. In fact, I told Patricia Fox during the initial meeting in Sept ‘18 I would not be the Petitioner in this civil case. When I challenged Fox regarding the charge, she said I could counter-file using this unnecessary Petition, but would be the point? This was a document that I did not need or even had requested. Obviously, Patricia Fox clearly violated the representation agreement by disregarding my objective that I was very clear about. Patricia Fox was also consistently late to status meetings at the court house. She charges for a full hour for a court appearance that takes 5 mins and she cannot even show up on time! My case was called 3 times on by the judge before Patricia Fox made an appearance on my behalf. Patricia Fox had sent me the Response to the Petition, it had multiple errors. I sent her a well-prepared document on how to properly respond to each claim, she again made errors. After calling her, she told me she sent the wrong document, her mistake, but charged me for the call, $130 to figure it out that she sent me the incorrect document. In conclusion based on my frustrating experience,
