In my first conversation with Paul, he said he tried to give advice as if he were giving it to his sister. None of his advice disappointed. My very difficult ex refused to settle a cut-and-dried case, but even given the added expense (to me!) of a trial, Paul was always mindful of cost. I was very pleased with outcome, as well. Paul, his associates, and staff were always professional and effective. I am confident this will continue during the post-trial fallout.
We had a difficult family situation regarding custody and it was not only sensitive but urgent. Paul was informative, compassionate and most of all, direct and honest. He provided us with options (legal as well as keeping in mind the best interest of us as the individual family members) and helped us figure out the best path in which to proceed. As it was a family situation, it was difficult to discuss, and to come up with a solution that would not further hurt those involved. I can't thank him enough for his work, it saved one of the relationships, for sure. I would recommend Paul, but be prepared for an honest response. He doesn't sugar coat things, nor is he an alarmist, which was SO appreciated by us and our family. A second situation had to do with succession planning/estate planning for our business. In dealing with the family again, there were concerns with extended family and how to handle the transition, both from a legal standpoint and from an emotional one. Paul helped us separate our emotions from our business and it made a big difference. Again, he helped us sort through things from a legal side, vs. family, which is never easy. I appreciate his responsiveness and his candor.
Excellent straight forward advice, answered all my concerns patiently. Very professional and prompt communication. Throughout the entire process I felt I was in good hands. Extremely satisfactory results. Overall outstanding, I highly recommend Paul Nordini and his firm. Special thanks to Paulina, always so helpful & kind during a tough time.
I have recommended Paul to three good friends during the past year. Paul has been there with me every step of the way during my divorce and the years following. My divorce was relatively amicable, but the years after have been up and down. He has a wonderful way of remaining calm during the stressful times. His counsel is rooted in experience and strong values. He always keeps the family in mind. There have been times when I may have pursued a path that would have been successful in the short term, but not a good long-term solution for the co-parenting of my kids. Paul always kept me focused on the ultimate goal of maintaining a good environment for my children. At the same time, he has fought on my behalf for a fair division of assets during my divorce. One of the things I've admired about Paul during the nearly four years I have worked with him is his responsiveness. Paul has always had a very full case load. As a result, he has had to work many hours beyond the typical day to keep up. When we first began working together, it was not uncommon to receive emails from Paul at 3 am. Over time, Paul has put a system in place whereby he responds to the urgent requests and his team handles the more routine items. As a client, I can say that this system has worked well. Paul and his team are even more responsive now. I would highly recommend Paul to any person in need of a family lawyer. He is a wonderful strategic counselor with strong values.
I was pleased to have Paolo Nordini and Nicole Bauer represent me in my case. They were very attentive to the dynamic details of my case. They warned me of all of the possibilities from the start of my case; and protected me from them all.
I hired Mr. Nordini twice, once for my divorce and a second time for a visitation issue. He's very good in the courtroom, and the Judge listened to his argument, and just ignored my wife's lawyer. Knew the law very well, and it shows. I thought his advice was spot on, and he just always cared about me and my kids. I would recommend him to anyone needing legal help.
My lawyer failed to prepare for trial properly. He failed to interview my witnesses and ascertain what information they had. I attempted many times to meet with him before trial to set up strategy and interview my witnesses. Those attempts were unsuccessful. My lawyer would cancel or postpone meetings and phone calls regularly. My witnesses showed up at trail and my lawyer had no idea what information they possessed. I hope this information is helpful to anyone considering retaining this lawyer.
