Hello! My name is Nimsy A. Garcia. I am an American immigration attorney and the founder of the US immigration law firm, The Traveling Immigration Attorney.I have offices in Laramie and Jackson, Wyoming but I travel frequently to broaden my perspective as an immigration attorney and better understand my clients and their obstacles.I served in the US Army JAG Corps as a paralegal and supported missions in legal assistance, international law, and military justice, and led efforts to help over 700 Soldiers with US citizenship and naturalization. I also helped provide immigration guidance to DoD employees impacted by the withdrawal of US troops in Afghanistan at the Presidio of Monterey, Defense Language Institute. As a civilian, I work on family visas, such as consular processing, adjustment of status, and employment-based visas like H-1Bs, H-2A/Bs, EB-3s, and EB-5s. I volunteer for local and nationwide pro bono organizations and have successfully filed naturalization, DACA, U visas, VAWA, and asylum applications. I’ve studied Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, and German and lived abroad in Mexico, Spain, and Brazil.I know the value of making legal services easily accessible and am genuinely dedicated to immigration law and passionate about helping immigrants within our community.Thank you for your interest!
