I had a difficult, complicated case with a past divorce issue, back child and spousal support and a home with a lien on it. Nicole was amazing, articulate, knowledgeable and creative in handling my case. I would highly recommend her. I have had many other law firms try and help me, but she was the only one who went above and beyond to settle all the issues and allow me to move on. I am forever grateful to have worked with her.
Going through a divorce just plain sucks but the process can be made less painful if one makes the very wise and ultimately very cost effective decision to have one of the best divorce lawyers in Southern California working for you. This is especially important if minor children are involved or large estates. ( Save money by taking a cheaper vacation- not getting a cheaper lawyer.) I was referred to Nicole by my corporate law firm and I did research on her and was pleased to find she qualified as a Certified Family Law Specialist from the California Bar- the best of the best in divorce work. Nicole was indeed the smartest lawyer in the room and just as impressive to me was her firm commitment to the ethical practice of law that was as strong as her commitment to me as her client. She also had an amazing sensitivity to how stressful and emotion laden the entire process was for me even though I was the one who initiated the divorce. I would recommend Nicole in a heartbeat. Divorce is an unpleasant event no matter how bad you want to get the divorce. There is an old saying that having brain surgery and getting a divorce are two times you want to have the most mature, experienced and knowledgable professional working for you. Nicole Nuzzo would the best divorce lawyer you could have helping you successfully navigate through a divorce.
I retained the firm of Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, and had the pleasure of working Nicole Nuzzo. Nicole took a hands on approach to my case, and took the time to get to know me and the details surrounding my situation. She was always available to answer my calls and emails, and always explained things thoroughly. She was thoughtful in her strategies, very detailed and always kept me Informed every step of the way. She was able to work with my limited budget, and used my funds to support my case methodically. Ultimately Nicole was successful in obtaining my desired outcome and I couldn't be happier!
The divorce process is a road nobody ever expects to walk, but when it occurs, seeking the expertise of a top Family Law Attorney is a must. It is a pleasure to recommend Nicole Nuzzo, Attorney at Law, who demonstrated tremendous intricate knowledge of the law to obtain the best possible outcome for my divorce proceeding. Ms. Nuzzo's careful recommendations and insights enabled navigating, not only through present concerns, but also protections for future financial concerns in the final divorce decree. Nicole Nuzzo guided the divorce process with knowledge, fairness and respect. At a time in my life of extreme duress she was brilliant, compassionate and went above and beyond my expectations.
Nicole Nuzzo was my attorney for an unusually complicated divorce - child support, spousal support, property division, business assets, custody and etc. She is not only dedicated to her clients , her knowledge of the law is impeccable in court. Also she is always one step ahead. Nicole was truly an advocate for my complicated and life changing situation and for my children and I's well being and I will never forget it. I highly recommend her!
Nicole and her primary Legal Assistant, Kristi, were a joy to work with. Nicole gets a rating of Excellent in all areas. First and foremost, I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of my case (and what else matters when one hires an attorney?). The lines of communication were always open. Nicole and Kristi returned emails promptly and telephone calls always took place as scheduled (i.e. they were never delayed or canceled). This is important because I often scheduled time away from work for the calls. I appreciate the fact that Nicole was very respectful of my time. Also...Nicole's initial analysis of my case turned out to be accurate (based on the final outcome). This is important because I did not wish to spend a large amount of money on attorney fees if I didn't have a good chance at a positive outcome. Nicole said I had a strong case from the beginning and her position never waivered. Her high degree of confidence helped comfort me throughout the process and helped assure me my time, energy and money would not be wasted. This was a very stressful process for me, but Nicole's confidence helped me keep my stress level in check. For all of Nicole's work, guidance and counsel, I am extremely grateful. Thank you Nicole (and Kristi)! Keep up the great work! Brian
I have been working with Nicole for over a year and I can not express in words what an exceptional attorney she is. She is a talented, trustworthy and intelligent attorney who also cares about her clients. She knows family law code like the back of her hand, and she isn't intimidated by any other lawyers in the field. She has handled my case as if I were a member of her family, and she has won every "battle" along the way. She has the ability to think outside the box and the foresight to include things that may come up in the future as part of current stipulations she is writing. She advises you the best ways to keep your fees as low as possible, while providing the best representation around. Between her no-nonsense approach to the law and Paul's litigating skills, they are a force to be reckoned with. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing to hire a family law attorney, you would be lucky to have Nicole Nuzzo on your side.
Nicole and the team at Paul Nelson & Associates have done a great job in guiding me through the minefield of Family/Divorce law. Nicole is incredibly dedicated, performs above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis, and some how is right on top of the latest details of every mind-numbing facet of my case. She and Paul make a great team. Given I have to go through this process, I'm glad I have a great team.
Completely unprofessional. Nicole Nuzzo was rude & condescending right from the start of our conversation. She talked over me, talked down to me, wasn’t willing to listen and was insulting. To top it off, Nicole decided to give me her personal opinion (after only 30 min on the phone) that “The writing is on the wall… your marriage isn’t going to work”… I hadn’t asked for her fortune-telling advice on whether my marriage was going to work out, as we were talking about a postnup. Also, I mentioned advice I received from another attorney who’s a professor, Nicole quipped back at me in a condescending tone, “Yeah, I’m a professor too... that doesn’t mean anything” (great way to promote yourself Nicole). All of this was done on our first consultation call, where I was looking to potentially hire her/ her firm. For being in family law, Nicole completely lacks compassion for other human beings while they’re going through what is likely people’s scariest, most stressful & saddest time in their lives. Don’t even bother paying for a consultation with her! Save yourself the money & frustration.
Don’t waste your time talking to her. Nicole is really, truly clueless. I don’t understand how she passed the bar.
