She is smart, hard working, and knows the law! She is outstanding and forward thinking and we feel so grateful to have her as someone that we get to work with and run to for advice. I definitely recommend her, and think she’s one of a kind!
From the outset, Nicole was compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. Our case was complex (a relative of mine was the victim of an assault as well as workplace issues), but Nicole quickly mapped out a strategy that was fair to all concerned. She proposed a settlement that was agreeable to both sides and brought an emotionally fraught issue to a swift resolution. I would not hesitate to retain her again in the future, and I give her an unqualified recommendation.
I recently went through the most terrifying experience of my life, a domestic violence assault by my boyfriend. Nicole Harvey, Esq. represented me and was a true advocate during this difficult time. She kept me informed throughout the entire process and her calm confidence was very reassuring. Ms. Harvey is incredibly well-spoken and commands respect in the courtroom. Not only is she brilliant and a true professional, but she's also one of the most compassionate people I've ever met. Ms. Harvey is a tremendous asset to her firm and I would highly recommend her for legal representation.
Nicole is a thoughtful and respectful attorney. She reviewed all of my documents and asked me thorough questions regarding my case. She gave her honest opinions throughout the matter. Nicole is great about explaining everything going on during the process.
Ms Harvey drew up my estate plan which was comprehensive and covered all situations which could occur. She took the time to become familiar with my personal situation giving me excellent advice and options available. Her vast knowledge of probate is exceptional. I would recommend her services to anyone who desires a complete and well drafted estate plan.
If you are hesitant about "lawyer speak", intimated by big egos and arrogance, and hesitate to trust attorneys in general; Nicole Harvey is your person. She is someone you can trust, a genuine, caring person that has education, expertise, and years of experience in law, the court system, and has a wide network of referrals. She made our family trust process easy and has taken time to consult with me on several issues regarding other matters. She always listens, and always has advice and referrals to others whom she trusts. I trust her. I highly recommend Nicole - she will take care of you and ease any apprehension you have about your legal concerns. She might just make you smile in the middle of it all ...
I absolutely recommend this Lawyer!! I can't say Ms Harvey renewed my faith in Lawyers in general, but I will say that she's shown me I can trust HER. (I have lawyers in my immediate family so it's not like I went to her because I had a shortage of places to go) It's always best to get an unbiased view, so I contacted her. In our first contact, when I was explaining my issue, she didn't push to simply make an appointment. She listened, asked questions, gave me her thoughts, and showed me ways I'd could consider taking care of the matter without it having to cost me an arm & a leg. She was generous with her time and information always. When I decided I wanted to retain her services, again, she made me feel like what I had to contribute, mattered. She never got impatient with me, (or certainly didn't sound it) and her staff was also kind and professional. I would recommend her to anyone, as she is always honest & has no problem referring your situation to someone if your issue doesn't happen to be in her area of expertise. (Though she never just pushed me off to someone. Rather she would listen, give her advice, & then talk about a referral) I have got to include this:: It turned out that the very advice she gave me from the start was exactly right in the end. Her instinct was dead on, her insight was amazing and as for that "BITE" I mentioned, when the woman goes to work, she goes to work!! No wasting time, just gets busy and gets it done! THAT is refreshing.
This review is for Nicole Harvey, Attorney and Harvey Law Firm. I retained her for two contract cases involving employment. She seemed very positive about a successful outcome and excited to take on the case, so I hired her and paid a $5,000.00 retainer. The first step involved sending letters and waiting for a response, so nothing happened for a while. I then had some questions about the case that needed to be resolved, so I could make some timely decisions. I tried to contact her dozens of times with no response. I called, emailed, even went to her office. No response. Finally, she responded weeks later, and I am not sure why I stayed with her at that point except that she seemed to honestly have felt bad about not responding to me sooner. The most disconcerting part of hiring her was after more than $10,000.00 into the case she basically stopped supporting me and the case. She even went so far as to say it was a policy issue not a contract issue. She claimed she could do nothing. The law had not changed and the facts had not changed, only her understanding of the law had changed after all that money was spent. She misunderstood several key facts in the contracts. As a final note, in case you might think it was really that I couldn’t understand this complex contract language, the check she wrote to refund some of the money I paid her in advance was written incorrectly. Even the bank teller knew that the legal amount of a check is the amount written in words, not the amount written in numbers. That cost me an additional nine dollars.
