Ms. Ontivero grew up in South Florida. She received her Bachelors of Science in Paralegal Studies from Nova Southeastern University. After her undergraduate studies, Ms. Ontivero worked as a Paralegal for several years in the area of Real Property Development, representing numerous South Florida Builders. In 2003 Ms. Ontivero entered the Juris Doctor program at Nova Southeastern's Shepard Broad Law Center.She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005 and immediately started practicing law in the area of Foreclosure, representing Lenders at the Law Offices of Marshall C. Watson in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.Ms. Ontivero subsequently joined the boutique litigation firm of Katzman and Korr, where she represented thousands of Homeonwer and Condominium Associations in both general litigation matters and Foreclosure matters.After practicing Association law for two years, Ms. Ontivero joined the firm of Ben-Ezra and Katz, where she again represented many lenders in Foreclosure proceedings and handled contested litigation cases on behalf of the lenders.As a result of this prior experience, Ms. Ontivero decided to open a private practice and use the litigation knowledge that she gained to help homeowners defend their homes and properly enforce their rights in many of these fraudulent transactions. Ms. Ontivero has also practiced in the areas of Immigration Litigation, Family Law and has handled multiple types of Commercial and Business Litigation matters.
