I believe he did the best thing he could've done to every single case he has done. Now sometimes things don't go the way you want it to be, and that's just how it will go. My case can be good as yours, and it's great for my case btw. BUT, do not get your hopes up if your actions put you somewhere in deep sh*t. If you have a sh*tty history that doesn't help your case whatsoever then, don't expect ANY ATTORNEYS to do a better job. I didn't expect anything out of him, but by giving him the information he needed, we won. In most of it since I was on probation, but that's better than jail time, honestly.
"I had read the reviews after I hired Nelson Goo, but I had to go on my gut instinct. I felt he led me in the most positive way to win my cases. I had regular email contact with him, and I found all the information he requested, and he delivered it in a very professional manner. I trusted him, and I am thankful that I did. I had an assault case in family court dropped by the prosecutor before it ever went to trail, and I had my TRO dismissed by the plaintive before we even had to defend the case, because he played the cases moment by moment, listening to me when I gave suggestions, and looked for the weaknesses in the cases. He was prepared and clam, when I was nervous and scared. I am a very happy that I trusted him. I hope this response helps whoever reads this knowing that not all people who win, write their responses, it is usually the ones who are frustrated and upset. Not all cases can be won just because you want them to be won, it takes evidence and it takes knowing how to present the evidence. I felt Nelson listened to me, and helped direct me in the best possible way I could go to beat these cases. I had listened to two other lawyers before I picked Nelson, and you should do the same thing before you choose a lawyer. Let them spell out what they think they can do for you, before you make a choice. Nelson told me he could get the case dropped, and he did it. He told me what I wanted to hear, but he explained why he thought he could win. Then I got him all the evidence he needed, I helped him, i didn't depend on him to get the evidence. I took part in my case. I got the phone records, I took the voice messages and put them on CD's, and I took the photos to the Costco and had them enlarged. Nelson told me what I needed to do, and I did it. I didn't sit back and expect him to do all the work and then wonder why I lost the case when I was paying him. I paid him for his experience in the court room, and then I worked on my case just as hard as he did. I needed a voice of reason and he seemed to understand the courts and how they were going to respond. I am posting this to let others know that he does do good work."
When i first met Nelson Goo he seemed like the right Lawyer for me. Told me everything i wanted to hear but once hired all that he said went right out the window. After hiring Nelson and appearing in court for preliminary hearings and early phases of court procedures i started noticing Nelson wasnt doing anything he said he'd do and when questioned about it his favorite response to me was "trust me" and "dont worry". Which i did and now regret totally. I can compare it to Joe Montana telling Jerry Rice to run a 3 and out and Jerry runs a 7 and in instead but gets back to the huddle and says "throw it to me again dont worry." And repeats to run the wrong route again to say one more time "trust me. " And i did ... unfortunately to my expense. When i hired Nelson Goo i was facing an Assault 2 felony and a TRO violation which i had many legs to stand on if taken to trial which i was told we were prepared to do if need be. That was not really his intensions. Long story short i found myself appearing to court one morning where Nelson met me at the door 5m before and stunned me by showing me the response from prosecution on a plea deal which i had 5m to decide and initial weather i wanted to take the deal or go to trial on this case. The plea deal was Plead Guilty to Assault2 felony and they drop the misdemeanor charges. Nelson insisted i take the deal. I didnt feel right about it at all. I went in facing Assault 2 felony and now pleading to Assault 2 felony is supposed to be a deal? I didnt need a Lawyer to get that kind of service. I could of done that on my own. So rushed into court i found myself pleading guilty to Assault2 felony which im still blown away by. Nelson doesnt want to fight for your best interest if it means more work for him. Even though he has been paid good money to him its not enough to really care about his clients best interest. After realizing the huge mistake ive made i sought other councils advice and fired Nelson Goo. Im now trying to see how i can better my situation before sentencing with new defense behind me and hoping that my life is not ruined by the lazy deceitful unprofessional ways of a attorney named Nelson Goo. I would not wish the experience i been through upon anyone. To me its the highest form of betrayal to higher a professional to trust with your future and life and they lead you down the road of destruction.
I always was lead to believe, when you hire a lawyer and pay good money for their services , in return they will help you in your legal situation. One minute before actually going in to court , starting off the plea negotiations with me pleading guilty to the most higher charge, I was made to believe this is what prosecution was offering???? Who has heard of anyone pleading guilty to the highest charge? I decided to seek other counsel.
