Neal helped lift a great burden off of my shoulders with his legal assistance. Once at the top of my professional career as a pharmacist, I unfortunately succumbed to burden of prescription drug addiction and ultimately plead guilty to 4 class C felonies in April, 2014. After 3 years of supervised probation, I contacted Neal in hopes that he may be able to get these charges reduced to misdemeanors. In addition, I explained that my second amendment rights were also very important to me, and my ultimate goals for this undertaking were to someday be able to practice as a pharmacist, and have my gun rights restored. First, we worked on getting the felonies reduced. We did end up having to go all the way to court but Neal was able to put together a persuasive argument as to why my convictions were unduly harsh. Through my progress in drug treatment and willingness to complete my sentence, Neal convinced the Judge and District Attorney that I was indeed, a different man than I was 4 years ago. My convictions were reduced to misdemeanors in an amended judgement approximately 6 months after my probation ended. Next came the gun rights. In less than 3 months, Neal surprised me with an order signed by a circuit judge restoring my rights to possess firearms. In less than one year, I'm no longer a felon, my civil rights have been restored, and I'm currently working on renewing my pharmacy license. I couldn't be much happier with how everything turned out. Neal made himself available to address any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire process. If you're in need of legal counsel, I would highly recommend Neal.
Neal met with me quickly and helped me to feel at ease. He was thorough in his explanations and worked with me to develop a plan . He wasn't left with many options, but he still worked tirelessly to represent me.
Neal is a great attorney. He was very detail oriented and explained everything that I needed to know. He was able to guide me through the process of dismissing my DUI and reckless driving charge. Does a great job at communicating with you about the next step. Highly recommend him as a attorney. Thank you Neal.
All I can say is that Neal is not messing around. He took this case pro bono publico, but treated me as if I was paying out of pocket. He showed up, treated me with respect, presented my case, he defended me and listened to what I wanted to do with my case. I always felt like I was in the best hands. I would highly recommend him as a defense attorney.
Neal isn't just my lawyer I consider him a friend. he helped me in a bad time of my life and with his help made something happen that was unprecedented in Multnomah County. he was always a phone call away and showed up to court dates that he wasn't even required to just to be there for me. this guy is smart and does not give up when told no. he fought for me and helped me turn my life around. I will always feel like I owe him one for all he did. Thank you Neal you are a great Lawyer but also a great man that I respect.
I was in serious trouble on marijuana charges and facing some serious time. I thought i needed a miracle. I just needed Neal. Thanks to Neal's knowledge of law and stategy, my case was dismissed and all charges were dropped. Way to knock one out of the park Neal !
Neal was able to help my legal case by exploring all possible options (even when my case had very few options to start with). He always made sure that every facet of the case was looked into and would tell me, of the options I had, and the pros and cons of choosing each one along each step of the legal process. Through this process, and through his hard work and effort, we were able to beat down a potentially large and serious sentence into something much smaller and manageable. Depending on your case, he might be a bit pricey, but I am unfamiliar with what others charge, all I know is that I am no longer burdened by the fears of prison and in a much better state of mind, and that to me helps justify the price.
Neal was of great assistance to my case. Serious charges were being made against me and Neal provided a strategy that assisted in preventing my arrest into turning into charges. He was vary patient with my questions and held my hand through the process.
