About
For three years, I worked as a prosecutor for the State Attorneys Office of Broward County. During my time there, I learned how important it is to protect the rights of the accused and decided to shift my focus from criminal prosecution to criminal defense and joined Solaris Law Group, P.A. I am well-versed in handling a wide range of offenses, from misdemeanor to felonies. You can rest assured knowing I have your best interests in mind and, with my experience of the criminal justice system as an advantage, I can do what is needed to obtain the best results for your case.

I reside outside of Broward County and could not find an attorney that was competent enough to assist in gaining my daughter's passport considering the nature of my situation. Upon completing a google search I found Family Matters Law Group who had an entire blog post dedicated towards my exact situation. I contacted them and they were actually willing to give me a template to assist me with pro-se representation. Because this had been ongoing for months and the Dept of State was unwilling to budge I felt compelled to hire them and get it over with. We encountered an issue with the judge and Nazarena, was still able to overcome that obstacle in order to get me what I needed to get my daughter's passport. Their fees were reasonable and their service exemplary.
Nazarena safed my life and my future with my family. 18 years ago I made a dumb mistake and had open felony charge against me and when I tried to renew my passport abroad where I have been living for the past 17 years I was denied and had the state wanting me to return and face the consequences. Through my family in Florida they found Nazarena and I hired here all from abroad, where she proceeded to get my bench warrant dropped and then negotiated with the district attorney in my favor to have all charges dropped. She had faith in me and my family, never overcharged me and worked a miracle for my family and I. As far as I'm concerned she is a godsend and anyone would be privileged to have her represent them. We are eternally grateful for her diligence and support and I wouldn't use any other attorneys.
I am writing this review because I know how difficult it can be to find the right lawyer and I want other people to know what outstanding, professional service I received with Nazarena Ocon Hauser. Let's face it, when going through a divorce, especially when a child is involved, you're emotionally and physically stressed, you want to hire a lawyer who will listen to your concerns and make you feel comfortable and most of all who will fight for what is fair in the 'better interest' of the child. Someone who is smart, experienced and undoubtedly familiar with family law. A lawyer who is both compassionate and professional. Ms. Hauser is all those things and more. I was being represented by another Law Firm who, in my opinion, made me feel like I was begging them for a favour, never replied to my emails in a timely manner (sometimes not at all) and prolonged my case for months. This is why, through a friend's referral, I reached out to Ms. Hauser and I have absolutely no regrets, it was one of the best decisions I have made. She was very reasonable and worked with me. She was always available and my phone calls/emails were answered promptly. She was very informative and fair. Always kept me updated and helped me understand what to expect and what not to expect. From the first moment I walked into Solaris Law Group, I was treated like a human being and not just another client. Everyone was friendly and courteous, I felt very much at ease. I was able to settle out of court which saved me a lot of money and time. What could have been prolonged for months, wasn't, thanks to Ms. Hauser. Honestly, I could write all day about her and it still wouldn't be enough to praise how outstanding she is. In essence, I not only found an amazing, kind, genuine attorney but a great friend as well. I would highly recommend her!
I recently worked with Ms. Hauser on a name change filing. I received excellent service from the group. Everyone that I had dealt with during this procedure was very professional and great to work with. They made the whole thing very seamless and easy for me. I highly recommend this attorney.
My divorce matter was handled by Nazarena , It was the experience no one should go through. She was never clear from the beginning and kept giving me false hope. I was the one that had to guide how to handle the case in which I could have handled my divorce case myself and she behaved like she was too busy and gave me a follow up call one or two weeks later for any big or small thing to discuss regarding the case. A case that was supposed to be resolved in 3 months (and it did after hiring the new lawyer) she milked my time, my money and energy to almost 6 months. I finally decided to retain another lawyer and he finalized at a very affordable price and saved me from further drainage of my time and money with Nazarena.
I had a very bad feeling about Ms. Nazarena from the first time she spoke to me in a condescending manner and I tried to cancel within the two day grace period but she seemed very knowledgable so I went against my gut feeling and I continued to work with her. I decided to cancel working with her now because of the corona virus situation and asked the office how much of my retainer had been used, I was told that $900 of the $1500 retainer retainer had been used but they refused to give me a credit, and Ms. Nazarena again spoke to me very condescendingly. When looking for a lawyer to hire I think there are many other lawyers who are capable of helping you with empathy and humility without speaking to you as she speaks to her paying clients. Also be aware that her office will have you fill out paper work that is unnecessary and you will be charged for it, the receptionist will also call and ask you for copies of an email that she has already received and you know because you were CC'ed and when you resend to her you will be charged for it and when she calls you to ask you for the email she already received you will be charged. They also call you over and over when you can not talk and charge you for their unnecessary phone calls.
