I followed up with Natasha the day after sending in my paperwork and she assured me she had everything to get the ball rolling. A week later she sent me a message through the my case website saying she needed paperwork I had sent to her e-mail she hadn't checked. No problem, I thought to myself everyone makes mistakes, even though she said she had everything without checking to make sure. The paperwork to serve the other party was drawn up a few WEEKS later and a date set for July 15th was put in place. After very little communication between us and no phone calls returned till days later, I receive an invoice July 5th. I explained to her that I wasn't expecting a payment "due now", but will have her payment to her that Friday the 10th soon as I get paid. Natasha sent an email back stating she would have to reset my hearing till payment was maid. I begged to keep the date and assured her I would be paying that Friday, which I did. On the 14th of July after 5 pm Natasha called me and said the other party hadn't been served yet and we would have to find a different way to serve her and I would have to pay for that too, on top of the $96.00 I had paid already to serve her. I have been served paperwork before and it is impossible to dodge the constable at your job. I'm starting to feel like my case isn't a priority and I express it through email to her. We reset the date for the 28th of July. I take off work again to receive an email on the 27th stating she had made a mistake and not filed the paperwork to get her served and was sorry and would make things right on her end for the delay. I cant help but be frustrated knowing the paperwork was never filed to have her served in the firs place but shes asking for money the whole time. Didn't have the courtesy to even give me a phone call and explain what was going on. I wait a week with no contact from her about the 3rd rescheduled court date and send a text asking when she would have time for a face to face conversation about things and she replies "go to my website and set a date". I set a date for the free 30 minute consultation and receive an email saying I would have to pay her $275.00 for the 1 hr consultation since I was already a client. Needless to say I didn't go. I received a phone call from Natasha asking why I wasted her time and didn't show. Was this suppose to be some kind of payback and if I didn't like her services I could terminate the contract. I was livid to say the least. I told her exactly how I felt about the services I hired her for with nothing but apologies and excuses for not getting anything done in 2 months on a EMERGENCY change of custody. Natasha had the nerve to tell me my case was terminated and hang up. Natasha Sherrod is very unprofessional, disrespectful and money hungry. She doesn't have the compassion, empathy or work ethics to be in a field like this. Please don't waste your money and end up like me paying for another layer. Sadly my kids is the one suffering from her heartless actions.

I have to agree with the previous review; she does not respond to messages in a timely manner; a month will go by before she sends a reply. My case should have been closed a month ago and I already paid her in full. She is very unprofessional in my opinion; at the minimal I expect for some generic response from a secretary. I would not recommend Ms. Sherrod to anyone.

I guess the state bar of Texas just hands out licenses to anyone who study's and passes the bar exam. That doesn't mean they should be an attorney. This particular young lady was hired and paid. She is one of the rudest people I have ever met. No show on court dates and will not return messages. Forget about answering the phone once she has been paid. She doesn't know how to talk to people sounds like a straight ghetto thug. If you are looking for a professional to work for you and treat you with respect, keep looking for another attorney. Very disappointing.

Ms. Sherrod helped me and my family on several occasions. Once with an illegal detainment by a mental health facility and and another case in probate court. These are just two things she has done for us.

Like I say once again it was a true honor and a blessing to meet my lawyer Natasha Sherrod she done extremely well to help me in my case she is very understanding and a person to talk to with my other issues in life she's doing her best to for me to see my son and to be reconciled with my son praise God and God bless

I interviewed 5 different attorneys. I was amazed with the fact that some of them were even legally allowed to practice law. I finally found Natasha and we spoke initially. I am disabled and she formed a way that we could interchange our ideas, events, changes without me having to go to her office. That was a blessing in itself. She developed a strategy, went to work developing the history of my marital situation, and she was not opposed to taking suggests from her client, me! She is not moved by deadlines, opponents threats, she does things in her time and that stops a lot of mistakes from being made. I'll end by telling you what the result of my case was. I won! Any better testimony than that? She is a wonderful ally to have.

Ms. Sherrod made sure that I was able to see my son after months of issues with the mother of my child. She cared enough to communicate with me through the entire process and made sure that my child was taken care of.

I hired Natasha after having to let a Lawyer go, I was specific about what I needed and had all my "ducks in a row" by the time I hired her. I can agree with previous post that she delays dates, and mis places paperwork, does not return calls and such but what really upset me was she saw my ex's lawyer and was intimidated! That's the worst feeling in the world that you have a wimp for a lawyer, she started freaking me out saying they would sue me for all this money and put me in jail and take my kids.. Said she needed so much more money to fight it that she originally planned and basically told me until I became rich that I was out of luck... Do not hire this scary lawyer, you need an attorney who is fearless and will aid you in battle till the final round and it aint her.
