My fiance suffered a stroke in May of 2017. By July of the same year she entered a nursing home after which the facility promptly initiated an application for MD Medical Assistance. Over the next few months I handed over documents concerning every detail of our limited financial assets. After waiting more than five months for an answer from Medical Assistance, I was told that my fiance's application had been rejected due to excess funds. Apparently, because we had not yet been married, Medicare was considering all of the funds in our jointly held accounts as belonging to my fiance with no consideration as to my co-ownership of the accounts. As my fiance's primary caregiver, having spent every day visiting her and caring for her , I was now shocked to realize that Medical Assistance wanted most of our funds depleted, which would leave me with a financial hardship, as I planned to bring her home to take care of her as soon as possible. Finally I was introduced to Ms. Drinkard and upon hiring her I felt for the first time I had an advocate. She promptly planned a strategy for proving my ownership of the joint accounts and worked diligently to bring the case to a close. In a month's time she not only was able to get my fiance approved for Medical Assistance, but she also protected all the money in our accounts. Ms. Drinkard acted with such compassion in our case, it was like being taken care of by family. I simply cannot thank her enough for her service and care and I would strongly recommend her to anyone I know in need of eldercare.

I have had the pleasure to work with Mrs. Natalie Paige Drinkard for almost ten years. She has been consistent in delivering positive outcomes for some the most difficult cases that I have encountered. She is well versed in Maryland Medicaid, extremely knowledgeable in various topics in Elder Law, and is a successful litigator. She is always professional, courteous and in tune with the needs of her clients. She is a passionate advocate for vulnerable adults. I have been more than satisfied over the years with the end result of my cases. Due to her unsurpassed expertise in the field of Elder Law, I would highly recommend Natalie to represent your best interest.
