I was born and raised in International Falls, and am proud to call International Falls home once again.  I resided with my husband, Robert, in New Richmond, Wisconsin, before joining Shermoen & Jaksa, PLLP, in September, 2009.  During law school, I clerked for a construction-law firm and anemployment-law firm.  After law school, I clerked for the Honorable Edward Toussaint, Jr., Chief Judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals, for two years.  Since 1970, the attorneys at Shermoen & Jaksa, PLLP, have helped the residents of Northern Minnesota during difficult, life-changing times.  Being a community-based law firm means that we are dedicated to the plights our neighbors face on a daily basis.  For them, we strive to provide the highest caliber of legal representation.  Regardless of the complexity of your case, you can come to us to obtain personalized service from an aggressive, yet compassionate, attorney.
