I had decided to go with Miranda because at our consultation, she seemed to be on top of things and really interested in my case. After I had chosen her, the interest quickly faded. I met with her 2 times following the initial consultation to discuss my case, and both times she couldn't remember who I was or remember any details about my case. When I asked what progress was being made with my case after a month after hiring her, i was told that there was a rule saying that i couldn't file my papers until 3 months later, which she hadn't mentioned in the consultation. She would never contact me or keep me informed with anything that occurred with my case. I ended up later getting a letter in the mail saying that she was leaving the firm (which she also never told me) and that i had two options, either go with her, or go with another attorney from the same firm. I feel like i have wasted a good 4-5 months waiting around for something to happen! Do not go with this lawyer!!!!
