The University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC-DCSL) was awarded a Top Ten ranking for clinical programs in the entire country by US News & World Report.  As a student at UDC-DCSL, I was required to perform 700 hours of legal clinical work.  My hours were spent in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic.  I was also awarded an Equal Justice America fellowship to continue my work in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic.  Under that fellowship, I provided another 400 hours of legal clinical work.  During my 750 hours in the Low-Inocome Taxpayer Clinic I worked on a variety of cases, including installment agreements, offers-in-compromise, penalty abatements, audit reconsiderations, and identity theft cases.
