Michelle represented me during what could have been a very acrimonious divorce. She was extremely knowledgeable, and was an expert in my type of divorce (military, long-term). She was able to find precedents to counter my ex-husband's insistence on excluding me from certain benefits. She was tough during negotiations, and supported my decision to take the divorce to court if negotiations didn't move along. Luckily (and due primarily to her negotiating expertise), we did not need to go to court, and our case was settled. I was very happy with the outcome of the negotiations. I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough. She's tough, knows her stuff, but is responsive and definitely looks out for her clients. She has my full confidence.
I have known Michelle for about 9 years. She has been amazing at getting positive results for her clients in the construction industry and also dealing with family law issues. She is very detailed and digs to get to the facts. I would recommend Michelle and her firm.
Michelle was always very professional and knowledgeable with the process, expectations and gave reasonable feedback. She is good at providing insight and possible scenarios. Always pushed for best outcome and fastest timeline. Also very fair in charges and not someone who just wanted to keep the meter running but was on the same page with goals.
I first had the pleasure of meeting Michelle in 2002, when my mother was going through some serious health issues. We as a family had some critical decisions to make and we asked Michelle to help us draw up a Will and a Durable Power of Attorney. Michelle became a close friend during that long term care for my mother. Her compassion, dedication and wise counsel was invaluable. I would not have been able to make it through a very difficult time without her professional wisdom and support.
I have known Shelly Kane both personally and professionally for over 20 years. Ms. Kane has assisted my family in writing wills and trusts in the past. Most recently we have sought her counsel in the purchase of a condominium conversion. She provided us with objective, pragmatic legal advice which assisted us in our decision making process. My husband and I have found her to be diligent, ethical and straight forward. We enjoy working with her and expect to use her services again in the near future. I highly recommend Michelle Kane.
I've retained Ms Kane for both business and personal issues. She has provided expert legal services including research where needed. Ms. Kane has successfully prevented a foreclosure, assisted with some family law and divorce issues, analysed contracts, negotiated settlements to two business law suits and negotiated long term leases with major utility companies. I would not hesitate to recommend her and I am continuing to work with her on current issues.
