Attorney DeCourcey was my lawyer in a criminal matter. She found out that there was no Statute in my situation and therefore I had not broken any law. She did all of this while consulting back and forth with me/ and looking at it from different angles. I've wanted to have her advocate for me, but also advocate for myself so I would constantly send her emails of what I thought might help (probably getting in her way more than helping). In the end she went up against the prosecutor who was new and relentless "trying to make his bones". She could not make the prosecutors dismiss the charges against me, however, she did get through to the judge who determined that everything she had found out that I didn't commit the crime in question. I feel if she didn't do that research and come to the conclusion that she would have continued fighting on my behalf arguing other theories to show there was no criminal offense. Very professional and I would recommend her!
