That feeling of competence, confidence, and a new beginning can truly make the difference. I am a professional, a business owner, and it was a difficult business situation that created my downfall. I started my bankruptcy journey with a different recommended law firm, and had a Very different experience. It was a female bankruptcy attorney, and I thought, looking for anything comfortable and familiar at this stressful time that being female myself we would at least have that in common. That much was true, but didn’t matter much. Communication with that firm was incredibly difficult. Emails were frowned upon & phone conversations had to be scheduled. When you managed to get a phone conversation answers were few and very ambiguous, at best, leaving me feeling like I was swimming with sharks in chummed water and without a cage. Leaving that firm became a nightmare as well and cost me dearly. No-one should have to go through such a nightmare, especially when they are already going through the nightmare of a bankruptcy.
