Mr. Nicastro is a phenomenal person always willing to help you no matter what you are going through. He is an excellent attorney and extremely professional! He got us our chapter 7 discharge with no hassle! Thank you Mr. Nicastro!
Mike Nicastro handled my Chapter 7 case and was successfully discharged. He is a very experienced and skillful bankruptcy lawyer. What I appreciated most though was that he was very approachable and promptly returned calls when I had any problems or concerns. He helped me successfully get me through what can be a difficult and intimidating legal process. He and his staff answered all questions clearly and concisely. I was treated with the utmost respect and he will always remain in my thoughts in a most kindly manner. I highly recommend him as an attorney who will put himself out to help in whatever way he can. Best wishes to Mike and his team!
I was referred to Mike by another attorney and consider myself very lucky to have found him. He was professional and very knowledgeable. More importantly, I could tell he truly cared about helping me achieve the best outcome. He and his staff were very attentive and quick to return phone calls and answer questions. Filing for Bankruptcy can be intimidating and overwhelming, Mike made it easy. He not only met my expectations but exceeded them by far.
Mike is the most amazing Lawyer! The first day I walked into his office, I was sad, embarrassed and fearful of what was to come. We attempted to get consulted by other attorneys, who without even meeting us or looking at our info said we wouldn't qualify to file. Mike was referred to us (it says something when all his business comes from referral) and everything about his process was different. He is patient, attentive and listens to you. He is methodical, he carefully reviews every detail and then begins the process of educating you. He helps you understand what needs to be done, he helps you plan for your future and empowers you to look at the bankruptcy process differently. We just received our discharge letter, we have our fresh start and are better off now than 1 year ago. For any new client that might be considering Mike, go with the intention to learn and listen to every piece of advice he gives you. It is genuine and comes from a place of wanting to help.
I was referred to Mike Nicastro from a friend and am greatly appreciative. He is highly knowledgeable, professional, and his staff is the same. I am very thankful for having them with me through my bankruptcy process. Everything was done straight forward and on point.
Mike Nicastro and his entire staff were all so very respectful in helping me get through this emotionally difficult time. Thank you so very much for the followup and good news that have a fresh start. I will be forever grateful to you all.
We ran into financial issues and with a newborn it tough to keep up on payments. We were referred to Michael Nicastro and we went and met with him for a consultation. After that meeting we were sold. He guided us on what we need to do and what we needed to gather. Ever time we met with him be was very polite and assured us everything would be ok. I would definitely recommend Mr. Nicastro to anyone who is need of his assistance.
My wife and I were talking the other day, comparing out situation today to where we were one year ago. After the industry I work in collapsed in 2008, I had built up quite a bit of debt. Some was personal debt and some was business related. I did not want to file bankruptcy, and would at times be able to pay down some of the debt. But just when it looked like I could make it, a few slow months would hit and we'd be back in a bad situation financially. With children getting close to college age , we really didn't know how we were going to be able to ever pay for college, or anything for that matter, with the huge debt load we were carrying. It was tough enough paying the interest charges, let alone actually paying the principal. Still, we were doing it, and with no late payments. But we were "slow paying" a few of my old business accounts. Even without a late payment we were beginning to get phone calls from a few creditors. Realizing it was about to snowball, and not liking the fact that I couldn't seem to stop the phone calls, my wife and I finally came to the realization that filing bankruptcy was the only way to go. When we walked into Mike's office, we felt like losers. But honestly, the way he explained the process, and discussed our options, really helped us to feel confident that we were making the right decision. We came out of the meeting with a big homework assignment, but also for the first time in several years, feeling like we had a plan that would change our financial course for the better. Mike's staff was very helpful in guiding us through the paperwork we had to complete and soon we were ready to officially file. The best day, and I only say "best day" because my wife and I thought it could potentially be the worst day, was when we went to court for the hearing. And this is where I truly saw the value in having Mike as our attorney. After meeting with Mike prior to entering the court room, we felt confident once again. (he's good at that.) But once we were in the court room, we lost some of that confidence when we saw other people ahead of us getting their cases torn apart by the Trustee. We will never forget. A corrections officer, with his wife, up at the front of the court, being questioned as to why he was paying for extra life insurance when he could be paying some of his debts down. They questioned his retirement account funding, child care, etc. My wife and I were thinking, "They're tearing apart a corrections officer. What will they do to us? We're in trouble". When our name was called, we went to the front. The Trustee asked a bunch of questions, which Mike had already coached us on, and that was it. We were done. That was awesome. And that is where Mike's preparedness truly showed. I remember asking Mike about that, and he just said "that is the difference between an attorney who does his homework up front and makes sure the numbers are all locked down tight (can't remember his exact words, but something along those lines), and an attorney who wings it, probably because they are trying to do a huge volume of bankruptcies." Within a few months of that court date, our bankruptcy was discharged. It turns out the process was much easier than we expected. Now, few months after the discharge, the stress is gone and we begun the rebuilding process. Mike was great!
I met Mr. Nicastro through an associate and later went to him for assistance with my financial issues. He was attentive, thorough, compassionate and reassuring. It was extraordinarily hard for me to make the decision to file but he assured me that even the best people run into problems and filing for bankruptcy is not a financial/credit rating death sentence. His staff members are truly professionals. They guided me through every step, kept in close contact via email, and responded to my phone calls and emails promptly. Overall, the entire process went smoothly and I don't have any regrets. I highly recommend his services.
