Mr. Stone knows his field. One of the most knowledgeable real estate attorneys that we have dealt with. He handled our matters economically and quickly. He likes to go straight for the bottom line.

I hired Mr. Stone 3 years ago and not only did he make sense out of 2 years of paperwork (had fired previous attorney bcz she had only compounded my problems & kept charging me for her mistakes), but also negotiated a settlement within 6 months (something my previous attorney said was impossible). My sister has recently run into a real estate dispute & I gave her Mr. Stone's information. She & her husband are very pleased with his work. It has not been settled, but getting ahold of Mr. Stone & getting regular updates from his office has never been an issue. Although his office has gone through several secretaries in the past few years that I've seen, I'm more impressed he is able to stay efficient & reliable even without reliable help (not to mention I was very glad he let go of one lady who clearly had no etiquette).

Do not trust this attorney! He comes off as a barracuda ready to fight for you then once he has your money he becomes bored with your questions and concerns. He totally made us believe he had negotiated a settlement that would relieve us from any more liability to the bank suing us. Little did we know after signing everything we just lowered the amount of liability we owed. We are still in the same boat & mike refuses to speak to us anymore. His secretary is even more of a screwball in that she kept emailing me the same settlement copy that had missing pages. Had the nerve to yell at us when we showed up to pick up a complete copy. Never did she or even mike apologize for their error. During the time we hired Mike he has been through 3-4 secretaries. The one before the one he has now had a nervous breakdown according to Mike.
