I retained Mr. Thompson as my attorney for our step parent adoption. On our initial meeting, I found Mr. Thompson to be thorough, honest, and straight forward. He explained all complications that may arise in our case, and how we would handle them. I genuinely appreciated his honesty and dedication to my case. I can say I am 100% satisfied with my decision in choosing a great attorney. His staff was easy to work with, and quick to return calls/emails. From prior experience with other family law attorneys, this one by far exceeds all the others in terms of satisfaction. Thank you again Mr. Thompson!

I hired him to handle my custody stuff. He didn't listen to anything I was saying or wanting, never kept me in the loop with anything, he has a flat fee and says you will get back what isn't used but he charged me for things on the invoice that never happened(four mediations at $250 each that never took place I'm sure among other things too put I have another attorney pulling the case file to look over it all), and he never told me there was certain time limit to appeal anything so I got screwed there. He will feed you the line that he is friends with the Judge and that they are good buddies that play poker together. So do not listen to his crap. Just an FYI, the Judge is a very fair person and had my attorney been able to argue my case I am certain it would have went a lot different. I had a lot of evidence showing my ex wife in contempt and alienating me from my kids, I just had a bad attorney. I have since hired another Attorney to work on my case and hoping to be able to take it to a higher court. New Attorney also suggest I file a complaint with the Kentucky Barr Association so currently working on that. He is not knowledgeable so save your money and go to someone else. Wish I did because I am out several thousands of dollars and now had to hire a different Attorney.
