Takes his time to listen and pay attention to detail . I wouldn't trust none but him .. young and hungry

Lawyer met with me for initial consultation (free). Quoted a price. Performed perhaps 4 hours worth of work for the case; works out to be $625 an hour. Feel like I was overcharged, and in essence, was taken advantage of. When so few hours were going to be required for my case, a reasonable hourly rate could have been charged with a retainer. The lawyer knew how much effort he was going to put into this matter, and even if he overestimated, he could have returned some money since it took a few phone calls and just a hearing. Not worth $625 an hour. Was the outcome what I wanted--yes. Could I have achieved this without a lawyer? Perhaps. Could I have achieved the same results with another attorney? Definitely since no litigation and no research was required. Some explanations, a few phone calls, and a hearing. Clearly demonstrates why people don't like lawyers. It's all about the money, and I feel I was overcharged.
