I want to thank Michael Regeimbal and his team for their professionalism. There are few experiences more upsetting than realising someone in your family has breached their Fiduciary Duty. Michael Regeimbal showed great care and legal expertise in guiding me through the process to correct this situation and secure the proper Fancial Protection for my Mother. I recommend him highly.
My friend passed recently and Michael was his lawyer. I am so grateful for the gracious help that his team provided for me in processing my friend's will through probate and settling his affairs. His fees are commensurate with his expertise and performance. He and his team are highly recommended.
Having experience with several attorneys some people on the rating board do not understand representation nuances. I personally have experienced his inflated billing practice. It is disconcerting, but if one does not ask what is being done the attorney will move forward on fact. He does not tell you all the facts. All attorneys are like that, and if you do not communicate with the attorney you will get burned with the bill in the end. Mike is a good attorney. The only thing he could use improvement on is divulging more of what is being done to the client up front - transparency. That is part of legal ethics which few take seriously as a matter of course :) The office told me my ILOTA check is in the mail almost two weeks ago. I have not seen hide nor hair of it yet.
Michael represented me in a probate dispute with my mother in law, my father had just passed and it was a very heated complex situation. The lawyer was very aware of the dynamics of the situation and while negotiating his percentage he was 'all for it'...... not to far into the case I started to question his commitment to my case, he was very unaggressive, and frankly quite passive. There were Several instances where had he took action and been more demanding it would've benefited my case quite a bit, actually had he of pushed the line even a smidge, would've had major impact on my case. Sadly, Mr. regeimbal, dropped the ball- theres plenty of attorneys in Washington- keep looking.
Our experience with Mike was unbelievable. We brought a contract for him to review before we signed. We paid our bill which was around $400. Mike them charged abother $800 for sending us information we did not request. We are on a fixed income. We feel totally taken advantage of and will not return.
I retained this firm on a recommendation of another Attorney in Kent, WA. for a guardianship. Although I made every effort to keep down costs by speaking to the staff and Para legals my final bill was excessive. I am disappointed and would recommend anyone seeking a guardianship to look elsewhere.
