Reported my employer for misuse of government funds and failure to pay IRS taxes. Advised me to not return to work with the stipulation I would be paid during the investigation. When the employer did not pay me he did nothing. Employer made negative remarks to prospective employers and revealed health information. He did nothing. Told me that I would not get a penny if I did not sign an offer/agreement that included giving up my rights to wages owed, giving up my rights to unemployment without stating an untruth, giving up my rights to work in my profession. More concerned with his relationship with fellow lawyers in RI than his own client. Tried to intimidate me into signing an agreement that he did not explain. More concerned with my employers rights than with his clients rights.
