I was facing some probate issues regarding my deceased partner's family. I did a phone consultation with Mr. Ong. I need to mention that I had made several consultations with other lawyers before I contacted Mr. Ong. Within the first 15 minutes, he got everything clarified with me and told me what I could or should and what I couldn't or shouldn't. Very straightforward, very experienced, no nonsense. I didn't hire him simply because I handled one thing incorrectly and did not want to face it at that time, as objected by Mr. Ong. Now in hindsight, I wish I had listened to him and hired him.
Michael prepared a trust for our estate. He did a fine job pulling this together and preparing all the required documents. Would highly recommend him for similar services.
A lawyer friend referred me to Michael Ong's office to help settle some issues regarding my mother's estate. Mr. Ong was a lifesaver; he was compassionate with family members, creative with solutions, professional in all the legal work and a great litigator in Court. He truly helped my family to resolution. I would highly recommend him to my friends and anyone needing help with similar issues of estates, trusts and wills. We felt his fees fairly reflected the work performed.
Mr.Ong was rude & unprofessional. We used him to handle the paperwork, etc. after my dad died. He overlooked the fact that my dad had over $6000 in a bank under his LLC. Now 3 years after his death we have to hire someone to deal with more paperwork to get the $ for my mother. Ong should have done this & bc he did not we now have to spend more time & $. & $6000 is a significant amount to a retired widow.
I would not recommend him to anyone. He is also very unresponsive and lacks the proper communication skills a lawyer should have. My dealings with him have been a complete nightmare. It is like pulling teeth getting him to respond to emails and phone calls.
