About
I have practiced exclusively in the area of business and family-based immigration law since 2001. I advise individuals and businesses in connection with a variety of immigration-related matters, including working visas, family-based applications, permanent residency (green card) and citizenship applications. Clients include artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, designers, investors, students and trainees, as well as law firms and companies in the consumer products, energy, entertainment, fashion, information technology, manufacturing, media and communications, and publishing industries. I write and speak publicly on a variety of immigration-related topics. As a longtime Co-Chair of the Advocacy Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s New York chapter, I actively support immigrants and their allies in their fight for justice and human rights. I am a former member of AILA NY’s Local Government Liaison Committee and AILA’s national Media Advocacy Committee, and frequently volunteer at legal clinics for immigrants throughout the New York area.Prior to law school, I worked with City Year, an AmeriCorps national service organization, in Chicago.
