About
Trust. Quality. Advocacy. Those are the tenants of my practice in family law and criminal law representation. I firmly believe that trust between the attorney and client is the best way to achieve results. I have found that trust is best built by actually listening to my clients. I genuinely care about what my clients want and what they have to say. It's hard to believe, but a lot of attorneys do not realize this. I find it is key to the success of my practice. I have experience in family law and criminal law in both Gila County and Maricopa County. In family law, I have successfully resolved and tried cases involving issues like property division, spousal maintenance, child custody, and child support. I have even interned for a judge on the Maricopa County Superior Court, so I am familiar with how judges think and they information they need to make their decision. I can arm my clients with the information they need to be successful. In criminal law, I have successfully resolved cases involving drug charges and DUI charges. These are common crimes and everyone deserves to ensure their rights and United States citizens are protected. I have been trained in techniques of negotiation and have successfully reached good plea agreements for my clients. This is what I bring to the table as an attorney: Trust. Quality. Advocacy. When you need it most. After a year of court on my own and being left in a position where I had to suddenly tread new and unfamiliar, and far more often than not, tumultuous waters (with no life jacket to boot) and despite the abundance of questions I had, the Langford Law Firm was able to thoroughly and swiftly bring me up to speed on what was relevant, along the way illuminating and providing direction of what to do in the ensuing aftermath of court, then further helping me navigate to safer waters amid a totally new and unfamiliar court hearing: all toward ultimately having achieved a result that was another overall benefit to my children and everyone involved in the family law case and issues at hand. They're professional and sincere and I would recommend Michael and his team to look after your best interests with grounded and resolute conviction and dedication for you, toward and in regard for whatever matter may be at hand... Again: Thank you!
I met with Mr. Langford for an initial consultation and he was very patient. My concern was to modify child visitation time due to the school calendar changing significantly to semi year round school. As a parent this is an emotional issue, but Mr. Landlord was patient to let me explain even though it took longer than what probably would have been a normal initial consultation. Many attorneys are not so patient, but he let me have the time to explain the issues, which made me feel good about choosing him and trusting him. I plan to hire him for representation.
Michael was very compassionate and professional when executing my probate case. He demonstrated all acts of due diligence and I would highly recommend him for any matter, it will all be covered in the complimentary consultation. Give him a call, what are you waiting for?! Thanks again Michael!!
Michael helped me at a time when I was struggling and even worked with me on making easy, affordable payments. He was very knowledgeable about the entire legal process and he was very prompt at returning my emails. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Valley looking for an attorney they can trust!
Mr. Langford represented me in a child custody case and we won! He is a very good attorney! Very professional and helpful and always let me know what was going on! I recomend him to anyone!
Michael Langford has been working with us for over a year now on a child custody case involving CPS, kinship foster care, and grandparent rights. Michael has handled our situation with care and consideration of the family dynamics at play while keeping our stance on the legal issues in the forefront. He has been patient with our questions and responsive from the beginning, keeping us informed regarding legal processes and likely outcomes of each hearing.

I would not recommend! This attorney was not timely. He had over a month to file and did not do so in time, therefore the opposing council filed in another county, (for which I was going to have to pay his travel fees to go to court). He did not follow up with his respondence which took 2 months for him to figure out the opposing never received the documents. He nearly cost me my case by telling me it was acceptable to have a telephonic trial. It was very clear it was not okay with the judge. The case ended up getting rescheduled because we were not there in person. Even after the judge reprimanded him, he was still going to file a motion for a telephonic trial because he was so afraid of COVID he was unwilling to travel and appear in court. He charged me for the entire time we sat in his office even though he spent the majority of the time trying to get his equipment to work (not even working on my case). He charged me for every text, email, and phone call correcting his mistakes, (sometimes two or three times) because he did not listen the first time. He wasted $4,000.00 and 11 months of my time and money and nothing accomplished. The stress of getting him to do his job was unbearable. I released him from his contract and hired a much better attorney who got it settled in less than two months. The new attorney had to redo everything that was done because it was done incorrectly. I feel as though he is not interested in winning your case but charging you for every penny he can and extending your case as long as he can to run up more billable hours. Do not hire Michael Langford you will regret it!
