First time I hired Kavanaugh he stepped in after another lawyer made an expensive mess. Kavanaugh cleaned it up for a fraction of the original attorney's retainer and a tiny fraction of the original's projected cost. The contrasts were startling. The original guy had an expensive office and the 'image' down cold. Kavanaugh has a modest office but he gets the job done on time and under budget. Got me a win when winning was in doubt. I've subsequently used him for corporate and other work.

after being told what kind of case I had (solid) and told exactly how he would be paid (billed to defendant), he proceeded to send a bill 2 weeks later, having forgotten his recent statements. After sending him lengthy, detailed notes, over and over, reminding him of the basic facts whenever anything was to be discussed or written, he missed the court date, for which the other side had CONCEDED, never mentioned it, fired himself, rehired himself (without my knowledge) and accepted a settlement without my approval or knowledge. Then, asked to be paid with it. On top of all of that, his work left a huge mark on my credit and when asked about it replied "don't ever bother me again." he also let the defendants grill me for 5 hours straight in deposition and while going to bathroom they all went home. He didn't call me again for 5 weeks. that was only to fire himself because" he felt he had to testify against other side." WHAT A NITEMARE!!!!!!
