Let me start off be saying that Michael is one of only two family law attorneys in Tucson with whom I consulted who treated me, a potential client, with dignity and respect. I believe the same result could easily have been achieved with the use of only about 60% of the final tally of chargeable hours. So be prepared to be very proactive about your case. You would think that an attorney would always have questions like "Will my client's request be found reasonable in court?" and "Is it better to settle now or keep preparing for court?" at the forefront of his mind AT ALL TIMES, but that was not always the case. He started out strong but unfortunately lost focus in the middle of the case. I don't believe this inefficiency was malicious, but I think that attorneys may unconsciously use fairly simple cases like mine as an opportunity to uh, relax a bit from the more complicated cases. Because I cannot recommend him enthusiastically, I'm gonna have to say "don't recommend", but really there should be other categories, like "recommend, but with reservations".
