I hired Michael to represent me in an action against my employer for hostile work, harassment wrongful termination and found I had to do most of the work. He basically cut and pasted my information and then when the settlement was reached, much less than we had agreed to, he left me in the dust. I should have gone over the settlement terms better myself but since he knew what was important to me and does this everyday I trusted that it would reflect what we had discussed and that I would not have tax issues since I told him this was important to avoid. Consequently I do have tax issues and he has been missing in action for follow up questions. If you hire him you must make sure you go over everything in detail don't assume he has done it for you and ask specific questions. Sometimes in emotional cases like employment it might make more sense to go with someone that understands the importance of clarification.
