He was direct, gave me my options, acted on the one I chose and got the results I wanted. Teri and Carissa were extremely helpful and responsive to any problems I encountered during the court process. If I require legal representation in the future, I'll know where to go. If you want results, he's the attorney you should hire. I have no regrets.

When my ex-wife and I divorced we decided to split everything 50/50, time with our children and also all their bills. After five years of this working fine, she took me to court to try and relocate to another state where her new husband was from. If that was denied, she wanted primary custody and also a few other things, lawyer fees etc. I talked with Mike about the case and decided to go with him. I had read a couple of reviews, some good and some not so good. Mike was definitely more expensive than the other attorneys I had looked into. My ex had Bays as her attorney. I was extremely nervous for our big day in court, not to mention Bays has some great reviews. We had our day and Mike did an amazing job. At no point during our day in court did I question what I had paid him. It was a great feeling to know that he was on my team. I walked out after a full day in court smiling ear to ear. There was no real change to our parenting time and I still get to be with my daughters half the time. I can't say enough good things about not only Mike but also his staff, Carissa and Teri. All of them are very professional. They always kept me well-informed and updated me right away on any changes. There was no comparing the two attorneys that day in court. They where clearly on different playing fields. Thanks for everything Mike, Carissa, and Teri!

Teri Farro, Mike's wife, is his receptionist at his front desk. I have many friends that I have referred to Mike Farro. I have known Mike for years. She hasn't always been rude, obnoxious, and condescending to people who need advice and assistance. Years ago, when she weighed more, she was very nice, helpful and genuine. That was many years ago. Use reverse psychology on Teri by talking about her new Louis Viton Purse, designer shoes or her new Rolls Royce. Get passed Teri and you get to Mike. Mike is actually a genuinely nice guy and a very competent attorney. Also, he is a former JAG attorney and knows military issues. Mike and Randy Bays have about the same qualifications. There both former JAGs and both very mean to the other side. Bays just doesn't have a mean receptionist that you have to deal with before speaking to Bays. Teri treats the active clients the same way. Get rid of Teri and Mr. Farro's reputation would be comparable to Bays. They are both asses but the get the job done, and done well. The judges seem to like them in their courts because both attorneys are quite efficient in the presentation of their cases. I would know, I am a nonmilitary guy that hired Bays in a custody dispute against my wife, who was in the armed forces. The case could have gone either way. Thankfully it went my way.

I recently went through a divorce. During this divorce I was willing to concede on all matters except one. About a month into it my wife and I were looking to have a consent decree drawn up. He told us that we couldn't do that. After completely draining the savings accounts he drew up the paperwork that we had asked for 7 months earlier and $15000. This guy doesn't care about your family no matter how much he says that he does. His wife Terri is unprofessional, rude and just a disgusting person. He also likes to point out his military credentials but failed to recognize the new laws that pertain to military retirement for spouses. Once my lawyer called him out on it, he suggested one of his buddies to us for the calculations of the allotment. Be cautious and expect erroneous billing if there are any funds remaining in the retainer.

My husband is deployed to Afghanistan and I needed legal advice and possibly legal assistance. I visited Michael Farro's office with a couple of questions and was "greeted" by a woman at the front desk. I told her I was seeking advice/counseling and she looked at me like I had something growing out of my forehead. I brushed that off. I suspected that lawyers, because I have visited with two here in Sierra Vista for matters other than this, have an open door for one free consultation where you can seek legal advice. Apparently assuming was the wrong thing to do. I said, "I guess you're looking for me to explain why I have come here." (which I don't think was any of her business) She said, "Yeah. Mr. Farro only deals with certain cases. Is this domestic or criminal?" I replied, "Domestic." And she waited for me to go on so I then proceeded to tell her why I was seeking legal counsel. She rudely turned me away, saying I have no rights to what I was inquiring about, and that I must wait for my husband to come back to be spoken to. When I brought up an Arizona law that is in place to protect deployed Service Members, and asked nicely what did that mean, she ROLLED her eyes at me as if I was an idiot or incompetent. She did tell me it was his policy to not speak to the spouse in these cases, which I suppose I can understand he can't DO anything for me legally, but could have still spoken with me to tell me that himself. My husband is in a war zone and looking for answers to questions THROUGH me. She was the rudest person I have ever met in a business capacity. I sought legal counsel from a LAWYER, not the lady who does paperwork at the front desk. Needless to say, when my husband returns WE ( and I emphasis "we" because my husband and I are a unit, a family head, and they treated half of this family head SO poorly) WILL NOT be utilizing him.
