Ok- consider this a ‘word of mouth’ recommendation: I received Ms. Aiello’s Name from another top-level attorney (who does not do family/divorce law) - I stopped mediation immediately as she saved me thousands of dollars for knowing what’s realistic and respectful to the other “aide” - she uses calm knowledge to counsel instead of emotional demands - she was outstanding in negotiating the final agreement - she knows the processes and systems well and doesn’t cut corners or some such silly things - she is highly (!) respected by the judges from what I saw and heard about her - remember when you engage and hire an attorney it’s a two way street: if you or the other side is not reasonable and reapectful - How can you expect a favorable outcome? Sounds like common sense but I have seen people trying to do a ‘“show of force -let alone ‘retribution’ “ - and everyone loses then. - Ms. Aiello is super transparent, knowledgeable and her team is equally professional - never heard any excuses - like other offices I have witnessed. Not sure where to start but my husband and I used this firm to take care of our custody and child support case which eventually went in our favor but the quality of work put into the stipulations and orders were at best what a high schooler could complete. There were numerous grammatical and spelling errors on the documents that were sent for us to review, we would have stopped using them but we were already in 4k. I guess sending substandard work to your clients and charging them extra to correct the initial mistakes and errors only helps them pad their bill. Honestly, if I'm going to be paying 300+ an hour, I expect top notch work with no errors, ever hear of proofreading. Not sure if this was the quality of Mary Ann or her associate Rebecca, but in either case it seems as though we were charged for the preparation by Rebecca and review by Mary Ann in which we still received substandard documents. The outcome of our case was to our benefit as we won all the stipulations we were asking for so I don't want people thinking we are disgruntled because we lost. If you are good with organizing your time and don't mind researching processes as to what forms are needed for your case, save yourself some money and do it your self, otherwise do yourself a favor and keep searching for another firm. I'm assuming this firm doesn't care about their clients as they most likely suspect us being one time users of their services. After spending about 10k, I'm still getting bills for trivial charges.
