Connors & Sullivan has set a new benchmark for service. This is the finest and most compassionate professional legal care I have ever experienced. Each staff member and Attorney are immediately responsive and ethically skilled in the law. Their efficient navigation of complex matters is extraordinary. Irina Levitsky is a remarkable advisor. To my great honor, even Mr. Connors was personally attentive as well. Such a refreshing encounter in these days. Thank you all.
Met twice with Connors and his staff at the Brooklyn office. All our questions were answered thoroughly with great attention to our needs. We engaged the services of the firm for wills for my wife and myself, and power of attorney for each of us. Our probate related questions were explained perfectly and excellent advice was given to us (my wife is executor of her Mom's estate). Mr. Connors and all the paralegals, most especially Bridget, were tremendously helpful. I recommend their services wholeheartedly.
Michael Connors could not care less about my case. The level of disregard and insensitivity about my probate case was baffling. Even after numerous calls to him and his office, he was still unresponsive.
Worst Law Firm on planet earth. They screwed over my family; they will certainly screw over your family. AVOID AT ALL COST.
I used Mr. Connors firm, Connors & Sullivan about 5 years ago. I never met Mr. Connors himself, rather dealt with several lawyers and paralegals at his firm. The reason that I needed a lawyer was for an elder care issue for a relative that was in failing health. We needed a power of attorney, estate planning, and medicaid assistance, so I went to an established office, Connors & Sullivan, at their Middle Village, Queens location. The services that the firm would provide to us were typed out, along with a bill for around $7,000.The power of attorney part went smoothly, but that's about all that did. Most of the estate planning I did all the work on myself. The medicaid was a disaster. Due to our relative's failing health, this was a time sensitive issue for us, yet it was of no importance to this office. I was incorrectly advised by a paralegal to cancel a medical policy. Shortly after, our elderly relative went in the hospital for 3 days and we were billed $15,000!!! When I received this bill I immediately called Mr. Connors office and the attorney handling my case, along with the paralegal, were not available...every day for a week! I had to threaten to grieve the law firm before the attorney would discuss things with me over the phone. I was told to bring any documents I now had to the office in Brooklyn. When I went to the Brooklyn office I met with yet another attorney who did her best to resolve the situation. After speaking to her, Medicaid was approved within a week. Unfortunately our relative passed away within a month. I now had to deal with the $15,000 medical bill. ( I used a totally different lawyer from another office who thankfully corrected that error for me ). A few weeks later, I was contacted by the office of Connors and Sullivan...they were offering their assistance to probate my relative's will; at a cost of about $5,000. I not so politely declined their service, and have not spoken to nor dealt with this office since. As I said in the beginning of my review, I never met with or dealt with Mr. Connors. He is well known for a weekly radio show, and he does regular legal seminars. Maybe he can give a bit less attention to those things and involve himself more in the goings on withing his office and his staff. The reason I am writing this review now, 5 years later, is simply because I did not know this site existed....or I would have written the same review back then.
