About
Michael A. Cole’s extensive experience includes civil litigation such as medical malpractice and personal injury matters, business and commercial litigation and workers’ compensation. Michael has handled more than 30 jury trials and has successfully argued appellate matters in both state and federal appeals courts. He’s even written a brief filed with the U.S. Supreme Court. Originally from South Boston, Va., Michael returned to the area in 2003 after 21 years of law practice in Atlanta. Most recently, Michael was a founding member of Cole, Bryman & Clerke. Prior to that, Michael was an associate with Vincent, Choray, Taylor & Feil and Freeman & Hawkins, also in Atlanta. Michael received simultaneous bachelor’s degrees in government and economics from the University of Virginia, from which he graduated with high honors. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia, where he wrote for the Journal of Law and Politics and was active in the Federalist Society and the law school’s Moot Court competition. He has been involved with the Leukemia Society of America and the Atlanta Humane Society, and mentoring for Big Brothers of America.
