About

Meissa Lin is a partner at Righi Fitch Law Group. She is an AV Peer Review Rated attorney. Her practice includes the representation of individuals, businesses, and municipalities in tort and contract litigation, primarily in the areas of construction defects, general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance coverage.  Ms. Lin has been honored as a 2012 through 2018 Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Star. She was honored as a top valley attorney in construction law by North Valley Magazine in 2013.  She received her J.D. and B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona. Ms. Lin has been a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) since 2007. She is a member of the Women in the Law, Construction Law, Diversity, and Retail and Hospitality committees. She is the 2015-16 DRI Construction Law membership Chair and the 2016 DRI Diversity for Success Seminar Chair.Ms. Lin was elected the 2012-2013 Treasuerer and 2011-2012 Secretary for the Arizona State Bar YLD. She was also elected and re-elected as a 2008-2010 and 2010-2011 YLD District 4 Representative for the State Bar of Arizona. She has participated in the State Bar YLD Maricopa County Holiday Party for foster children since 2008. She was co-chair of the 2009 and 2010 Maricopa County Holiday Party Committee. Ms. Lin served as the 2010-2012 chair and board member of the Maricopa County Bar Association's Construction Law Section. She has been on the board since 2008, and previously served as the 2009 vice-chair. She has served on the board of the Litigation Committtee for the Maricopa County Bar Association since 2012.  She also served on the board of the Maricopa County Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) in 2009 as part of the Domestic Violence Committee and as a liaison for the Arizona Asian American Bar Association (AAABA). She served as a 2011-2013 board member of AAABA. She has been involved with the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel (AADC) since 2007 and was the 2009-2011 vice president and board member of the AADC YLD. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and has been on the annual planning and marketing committee for “Women in the Law: The Seminar for Legal and Business Innovators” since 2009. She is a member of the Arizona Women's Law Association (AWLA), and a former member of the Thurgood Marshall Inn of Court. She was a board member of the Women's Metropolitan Arts Council (WoMAC) of the Phoenix Art Museum, and previously served as the 2010-2011 president, 2009-2010 vice president of membership and the 2008-2009 secretary. She has been a volunteer for the Wills for Heroes program and the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education. She was honored as the December 2011 Volunteer of the Month by the Phoenix Art Museum. Prior to moving to Phoenix, she received the 2006 Pro Bono Service Award from Mohave County Community Legal Services.
