I can’t say enough about Meghan and how she has helped me during such a difficult process as my divorce! She has assured me as well as given me much needed advice!!! Will be using her for any of my other legal needs
We have known Meghan for over ten years and watched her educational progress toward a Masters and now a Law degree. Before earning her Law degree from the University of Denver, she was a para legal for many years. It was during this time that she helped a close friend of ours with his divorce on a pro bono basis. He is 100% disabled. He was awarded a Purple Heart for his service during the Viet Nam conflict. His wife had left him and he was concerned that he might be liable for any debt that she incurred so he needed to separate from her to prevent such an eventuality. Meghan stepped in and did all the legal work necessary to affect his divorce. Since becoming an attorney, she assisted our nephew with several questions he had about whether or not to set up an LLC to protect he and his family from a part-time job he was engaged in. We are indebted to Ms. Betz for the professional and courteous manner in which she handled these two situations.
I have known Meghan as a personal friend for several years. In addition, she has provided excellent advice to me on several matters pertaining to a divorce and subsequent alimony modification processes. She has an exceptionally detailed knowledge of court processes and an uncanny ability to assess the strategy and weaknesses of opposing counsel, even if presented with limited information. I believe this is due to her several years of experience in family law as a paralegal prior to graduating law school and attaining the bar. She is also extremely passionate about helping the clients she serves, especially when they are economically disadvantaged or face other hurdles to obtaining justice. She is a thoughtful, attentive listener with a positive, energetic demeanor, which makes working with her pleasant even when the subject matter is not. I would highly recommend Meghan to anyone facing challenging family law negotiations or litigation. – Senior Marketing Consultant / Executive
When I first met Meghan, she was doing volunteer work for her community. Meghan, ( at the time of our interactions) not only was a stand-out law student, she was also a seasoned paralegal. Both of which, upon my inquiry, came with numerous acclaim from multiple people that knew Meghan professionally. I at the time was in the beginning stages of a separation/divorce that in a matter of two days had left me without my children, all bank accounts drained and assets gone. Given the unique severity of the situation expanding two states; not only did I not have money to retain private counsel, I didn't even have time to retain pro bono counsel. Meghan volunteered to help me. She spent considerable time every day researching laws, explaining the process, guiding me on what to do legally. She, as promised, stayed by me through it all. If you're in need of a lawyer with the upmost of genuine quality and situation sensitivity, it is imperative that you retain Meghan Betz. She is the type that gives lawyers a good name. She works with heart, precision and professionalism. The lives of my children and I flourish today because of your efforts. Thank you so much Meghan. Keep impacting lives for you indeed impacted ours.
