Megan has been with me as my and Mr. Luey's attorney for almost three years, as I became his court-appointed guardian. She walked thru the whole process and explained the whole guardianship to me, step by step. She took care of the pre-Neptune Society plan and how it works. She then guided me thru of some of his worse moments at the memory care facility and notices I received regarding the destruction of the lighting on the grounds and how much it would cost me. I let her know my concerns right away and she assured me it would be taken care of out of his Trust Fund that was set up for him. Now they have just "passed" she has answered my calls right away and assured me that she would take over the rest of the issues and red tape with someone dying and not having any real family left but myself, to grieve and love him as a very dear friend. She was recommended and appointed as his complex attorney thru out the whole process which started January 7, 2020. St Charles Hospital turned his case over to her and from there on she helped with the money I had found and used it to set up the fund. She has become a friend and mentor and at the ripe age of 84; I could not have done it without. I have not found one fault with her during the two years we have worked together to make my guardianship work. By Barbara
