I would never recommend anyone use this law practice. This was a terrible experience. Attorney Richards was prompt to take my money and bill me repeatedly for work she is not doing and bill me additionally after I released her as my lawyer. She did nothing during her time as my lawyer but make me feel stupid. not listen to the details and nuances of my case at all and do no back end work claiming it would just cost me more money if she did. When I told her I no longer had money to pay the balance i owed her, she continues to bill me even though she isn't my legal counsel any longer.

If you are in need of a divorce lawyer keep looking. EVERY TIME we had a discussion about my case I had to go over EVERTHING multiple times (on my dime), did NOT get a monthly billing statement and I had asked SEVERAL times, and she handed my case off to another attorney in her office when we went before the judge. It is almost 3 years later and I'm STILL digging out of my bad representation. Husband got everything - money, property, etc.

This attorney does not have the experience in probate court, especially against probate lawyers that have been around a long time. I found that Maura wanted to use my money & gamble with my future so that she could get experience. Maura took what was not confrontational between my ex-husband & myself and made it horrible. Attorneys do that so they profit from it. I had an agreement with my ex. and she tossed it aside and started a fight with him and his attorney (who by the way is a far better atty than Maura) Maura marched in the court room not prepared and made a mess out of everything. She lost me my agreement, lost me money & a postponement for three more months and another court date. Maura does not listen to you, she is abrupt & did not go over the pre-trial memo with me in advance. I had to get a copy of what my atty. did from my ex-husband not her. Not only was the court day in front of the judge a waste, she spoke to me rudely in front of the judge, made me look bad and put a pre-trial memo together that was inaccurate and a waste. Maura also was granted legal fees from my ex-husband and she never got the money for and charged me. In closing Maura does not listen to details that would protect you against opposing counsel. She is rude and abrupt. This is not how YOU want to be treated by someone you are paying to speak on your behalf. I an in the process of filling a complaint because she will not refund the court date that my husband was responsible for.
