About
Matthew Spohn focuses his practice at Fulbright & Jaworski on commercial litigation, including intellectual property and patent disputes. Mr. Spohn has first-chaired two bench trials and two jury trials as an associate attorney. Mr. Spohn has also argued several appeals. Currently, Mr. Spohn is a member of the team prosecuting claims against mortgage loan originators who sold Lehman Brothers defective loans. Prior to moving to Denver, Mr. Spohn developed his litigation skills as a commercial litigation associate at a law firm in Minneapolis. As a reflection of his accomplishments at the firm, he was consistently named a "Rising Star" by the Minnesota Law & Politics magazine. Mr. Spohn graduated in the top ten percent of his class at the University of Iowa College of Law, where he was recognized for his legal writing and legal history research. Mr. Spohn was also the Note and Comment editor of the Iowa Law Review.
